Thanks! Just grab a camera and start shooting don;t over complicate things. At the end of the day they are all cameras. If you don't want to think about lenses etc then the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 would be a great system to start with.

If you are on a studio, doing live stream and etc it's ok to use a cheap camera. if you have to deal with changing ligth, multiple faces and long time recording, you start to apreciate many of those features. To be honest, inside home I use a Gopro or even my phone.

The R50 has AF in both 4k and 1080 so no issues there. The Canon M50 does have Contrast based AF in 4k but I find it to be unusable. I just us Manual Focus when shooting 4k with the M50.

I've been watching your videos night and day. I got a second hand M6, I love the camera, the aesthetics, the functionality, the quality. But, unfortunately, the M50, which I consider n inferior camera, is way more popular, hence the lack of videos about the M6. So I watch all your material about the M50 and adapt it to my camera. ;) The R50 looks amazing, but I already own 2 R6, so , until Canon comes up with a RF camera with the M6 form factor, I'll keep it. The only thing that doesn't make the M6 a perfect camera, is the lack of the articulated screen. I'd guess that's the reason of the over popularity of the M50 (and price, of course) Anyway, I enjoy your videos, keep posting. And thank you

Hey man, I wouldn't save up all that money for an M50. The camera itself is great, but they discontinued the EF-M mount system and continue to discontinue their lenses. I'd go for the R50 instead. That way, you can buy lenses and then use them on a new camera you buy in the future.

Good video! I have been going down the rabbit hole for a camera for KZbin videos. Mainly shooting 4K and 1080p video. Would be mainly on a tripod, gimbal, or overhead, as it would be showing my hands to unbox/build things. I was really set on the Nikon Z30...seemed great for the price, 2 lens kit option, video quality. Until I found out about the overheating problem....seems to overheat in 20 min on 4K. so dumb. So then I looked into the R10...then found the R7. Better battery life, slightly better video quality, IBIS, dual SD card slot. I think I am going to go with the R7 with the 18-150mm kit lens. From what I have seen, this should be great for what I need it for. My budget is 2,000 USD. Do you suggest another camera (with lens) in that price range?

The R7 and R8 are great in that price range. If you can stretch your budget another $200 I think that the S5 Mark II is the best value for money currently available.

I have owned the ZVE-10 and its a little beast of a camera. Paired with the 35mm f1.8 OSS lens it could get some really cool b-roll. As a podcast camera it did great. No overheating issues after almost 2 hours. Had to sell it but now looking at something else again. Used A6400, maybe a R50, or go into the Fujifilm system. Fuji lenses seems much more affordable than all the others. Lets see where I end up after a 1000 KZbin videos 🤣

Which is better for low light dark instagram reels? Canon r50 or sony ev-10? Currently have an 80d and not quite getting the quality I need especially in low light video. Would an upgrade to any of these 2 make a difference or I need to change my lighting set up?

Both of those cameras are much better in low light than the 80d. I can't say for sure but I'd probably give the slight edge to the ZVE10 over the R50

If you need extreme lowlight the Sony ZV-E1 might be something to consider.

@@Tower_15_Ladder It has an audio jack so you can connect a shotgun mic to it. The internal mics in cameras are not suitable for most situations
