Is it call bearing maintenance??? 😂😂😂 never do like in this video… first of all you need get out bearings, clean bearings from dirt and grease, and ONLY AFTER THIS you get in new grease…👍🏻

Hello, where can I find these black adapters to put on a QR frame? I bought some and it's not compatible 😕. I have Fulcrum Racing 3 DB wheels to take to be able to mount them. I hope to have an answer, it's really a hassle with all these bike components 😅

What do you call those caps that you took out of the hub axle?

I think you installed the washer on the wrong side. I believe it goes on the same side as the locking collar.

which point of the video is that?

Steve Rabin is referring to the little silver washer you place on the bearing before pushing through the spindle/axle. But no, you've done it right with placing the washer going on the non preload side of locking collar. The only other thing I would add is that I don't use grease on actual bearings, I dump out all of the grease and use dry lube. Then put the seal back on and grease the seal to prevent moisture getting past the seals. The reason for using lube over grease is make the bearings spin significantly faster for longer because the bearing will rotate more freely through the bearing race whereas the bearing will slide in race when packed with grease.

Steve Rabin is correct, Mill Shumps is wrong. The washer goes on the side with the preload collar.

That what I was thinking also.

@@aje83774 Yep, the washer goes on the side with the preload collar, he make a mistake when he reassemble the wheel.

Hello, Great video. What if after doing the above there is a lot of play within the axle? Thanks!
