Noteworthy player - George Cohen, He was the only fulham player included in Englands 1966 world cup win, and played the final. There is a statue of him also at the cottage. Considered a legend by the club and fans 👍👍

Noteworthy manager surely Roy Hodgson. Saved the club from relegation when it looked likely and then took them to their first ever European final

No mention of Jimmy Hill and Tom Wilson, team mates of Bobby Robson. It was Hill and Wilson who saved Craven Cottage from the developers. They were both later directors of the club.

@@TheSoccerTavern I don’t know much about Fulham or English soccer. Marsh played for the Tampa Bay Rowdies when I was growing up in Tampa and was (and is) my favorite professional athlete in any sport. His creativity with the ball, ability to see passing lanes and attacks before they happened….He made scoring goals and playing the game look so easy! As a young player I wore number 10 because that was his number and I tried to model my game after him. In that day he was called the clown prince of soccer. There was a rumor that he mooned the queen during a match when he played for Manchester City, but i can’t find anything about that now.

Club colours were originally sky blue dark blue half shirts ...Then red shirts with white sleeves 1890.....And change your name to FOOTBALL CAVERN
