Seriously though. That's what makes his GOAT case even better imo. It's sadly not exactly the most common thing for someone to be a true HOFer on AND off the court and you're right to be the "chosen one" of the NBA as a teenager is absolutely insane.... I'm 33 myself and just thinking about what I was doing/where I was at between 15-18 when he was gearing up to enter one of the biggest sports or entertainment leagues as a freaking prodigy is mind blowing. 20+ years (no breaks AKA retirements just saying lol) of being consistently one of the best basketball players on the planet night in and night out plus like you said no scandals, been with his wife since the beginning, great father, huge with charities, foundations, community programs, etc. Smart AF with his $$$ & business ventures and I'm sure his 2nd career is already set up at this point the way he branches out to other forms of entertainment. Yet some people somehow somewway really do hate this man like he did something personal to their mom haha

Honestly, I think LeBron James BIGGEST weakness is that he has ALWAYS been the best player on his team... by a lot. Even as an 18 YO rookie, he was still the star of his team. Getting drafted by Memphis would have put him in a VERY different culture where he would have been expected to be less ball dominant. That's LeBron's biggest weakness, he doesn't offer much without the ball, which is why his best RS was with the 09 Cavs, not the Miami superteam.
@CalebShimomura Жыл бұрын
They could've had year 2 Lebron (2nd team all-NBA) and Pau Gasol on their ROOKIE DEALS. THEIR ROOKIE DEALS THAT TEAM WOULD HAVE BEEN BEYOND CRACKED
@CREOLEHEAT Жыл бұрын
They had exactly the types of players Bron needed around him. A damn good wing defender who could hit the three, a sharpshooter, a good post presence & rebounder, & a point guard who could also run the offense & wasn't a black hole on offense. That Grizzlies team with West at the helm would've been a real title contender in just a few seasons. Imagine 2nd year or 3rd year Bron on the 2005 or 2006 Grizzlies. Only the Spurs would be a real challenge.
