Seeing Brendan there, I'm thinking that as a film fan... I love the moment when an actor that I loved much in the past has come to the career moment to play a contra role or a more quality role than he used to. I'm really happy about him. Could say the same for Sandler, but he played also on uncuted gems.

Good lord, I wish interviewers would get it right! He is usually quite gracious about it, but I did see him look at Adam this time.

Thats the best actor table I ever seen.. so empathetic so wise... love each of them.. their powerful performance in those particular movies... Brenden frasher is my man, only Sagittarius man I like . adam, sandler love for his dad, and what an amazing dad he got, how lucky he was.... austin butler so wise and em[pathetic for his age, may be cause he loosing his love of love, his mother.. we became empathetic and wiser, when we loose something we love,, from our sufferings and also from living alone overserving things and others.. you grow only when you alone

God this made me cry. So proud of Austin and Baz xx love you guys xx
@kindking8009 Жыл бұрын
Austin was the only one who made me cry only because I already knew about his touchstones and the amount of devotion he put into the role. The others I don't know anything about, but I had to laugh a little hearing Paul talk about the weight he felt on his shoulders for two months when Austin bore a heavier load for almost 3 years.
@johnjungkook2721 Жыл бұрын
@@kindking8009 same - I think the feat Austin accomplished is actually underrated, even with all the attention he's getting. Also, Austin carried the movie he was in - the screenplay was nothing special, it was the acting.
@kindking8009 Жыл бұрын
@@johnjungkook2721 I wouldn't say the screenplay was nothing. It hit on some aspects about Elvis's life that none of the others have, but Baz's movies have always been more about presentation which I think was apropos for the subject of Elvis. But yes, Austin carried it. Anyone else in that role and I think the movie might've been a bit of a flop.

Great round table. Great actors. Still the ratio of films by white men vs POC is minute. Jonathon could have had a bit more time to speak. The interviewer even spoke For him when he mentioned Denzel so we never got to directly hear what roles inspired him. Looking forward to seeing his film. Also Bill Nighy because he's Bill Nighy. These round tables Variety, THR, Vanity Fair & Los Angeles Times are doing because of awards season are so good! Thank you!
