to answer your question about the haste embers, they show as not picked up in the fog until: you get vision of where they were, or the time they would have expired passes. makes it look like they arent grabbing them, but its just to prevent tracking people without vision

The precision tree feels bad until you take a level 4 fight in river with conquerer and water walking and have 78 AP with just a Dorans ring. If you're queued with your jungler it still feels great for the skirmish potential.

Precision tree may as well not exist after tenacity rune was removed. The only time I am forced into that tree is for press the attack.
