I'm so nervous for my B2 exam...it'll be tomorrow morning and I CAN'T SLEEP. This will be my last exercise before the exam... I've done 26/30. the num 7 can't be the c. They never said it should be encouraged but rather permitted, quite a difference

First, the correct answer cannot be A and B, so it should be C. Secord, the man say" Yeah but I guess the authorities think grafitti's just wrong full stop. But in case, I think they're wrong" >>the correct answer is C (It wasn't allowed because it wasn't encouraged by the authorities.)

@@VietFCE (I dont want to come across as too fussy but i'll give my opinion) the man said 'its not as colourful of course but I guess is more environmentally friendly'. Here, colourful could be meant as attractive, thus the use of 'but' afterwards. But then again, they both agreed reverse graffiti is much more artistic than the usual graffiti. Neither colourful nor artistic means attractive per se but either could be interpreted as such. But I still second that being allowed its not the same as being encouraged...ieg smoking, eating sugar, meat, or even taking the car is allowed but yet is not encourage by authorities.

And if we look at the whole content and their tones while they're talking, we can see that they didn't mean to point out the weakness of this graffiti (so B: it isn't attractive as other cannot be the answer). The main purpose for this talk is why this new grafitti wasn't allowed? and Because it it wasn't encouraged by the authorities is the answer. C is the best suitable answer for this question.

For the listening skills, I suggest you try listening to podcasts, radio stations, international new websites ( for example bbc..), watch TV shows & movies, as well as youtube channel (including my channel). There's no limit to what and where (or certain books) for us to improve our listening skills, the more we listen to English, the better we will hear. You can start by picking out what interest you.

@@hienthuongnguyen4489 When it comes to listening skills, the key to improve is keep listening. Keep practicing and repeated practice. While listening, you can also keep record of new words and phrases you pick out- this will help your reading, listening, speaking and writing as well.
