Ghanaians are definitely proud but not as show off people like their neighbours to the east.There was no showering of money on the bride & groom. You do get the flamboyant ones as well - on occasion; with spraying of money on the couple - or "showering" as you put it. What I haven't seen is the "hurling" - of bundles - into the air to then rain down. That, I've only seen once at a funeral - by Agradaa at COP Kofi Boakye's grandmother's funeral.
