Fun fact, high end cycling equipment has about a 40% profit margin. Their marketing is so well done. It's ridiculously expensive, and we are still going to buy it.
@jooohanАй бұрын
Well, because people who buy stuff like this have money to spare on stuff like this. I’m finishing university that I’m paying for with all I have, barring food and shelter. All I can do with this is look and salivate. Maybe as my 40 birthday present if I’m doing well and all. No sane person would dish out the amount of money these high end candies cost when they have family to feed. That being said, I wouldn’t buy this even if I could. Not on my bucket list. (yet :P)
@marcs7971Ай бұрын
The margin is way higher than 40%. However, nice build
@matiborАй бұрын
@@jooohan > I woudldn’t buy it even if I could That’s a naive statement. Trust me. If you can afford it, you are going to buy it 😁
@jooohanАй бұрын
@@matibor I wouldn’t buy it. I’d go for custom titanium C68 instead.
@pierrex3226Ай бұрын
@@matibor i can afford it, and no, i'd never spend that money on that. Simply never.

So beautiful to bring all of this together! I do prefer Pog’s black with pink combination, however. Black bike, pink accents. Really something special. I ride a 1980s era Colnago Mexico so I’m partial to Ernesto’s bikes…

He’s not bedding the pads and rotor, he’s taking pad material off each pad squarely, so disc brake adjustment/alignment is easier, and less or no rotor rubbing.
@pierrex3226Ай бұрын
it does happen to bed the pads, though? no? I assume that's the biggest benefit, as you can't afford to have pogacar crash because his rotors aren't bedded in. At least the front one.
@MaxwaehrensАй бұрын
@@pierrex3226 Do you actually need to bed the pads? I always thought it was only the disc rotors which needed to be bedded before proper use.

Big ring with 55T !
@pierrex3226Ай бұрын
given their average speeds, assuming you don't want to use the hardest cogs for chainline & efficiency, and assuming you want a comfortable cadence, 55T makes sense. I have 52T and it's just too small on the flat. But i dont have the legs to have a big small ring on climbs.

Did anybody notice the bike has small chip on minute 1:18 or just me??
@ducminhnguyen7449Ай бұрын
Haha i think it just paint issue 😂 , near disc screw right?
@Antoine_FrsАй бұрын
Just the paint yes. Also if you look closely at the brake mounts and holes for the wheel axles there is a bit of paint overspray. They should be raw aluminium / carbon like the bottom bracket shell, so that the brake calipers and axles sit perfectly flush, avoiding break rub or creaking. That's just a detail as this is a one-off bike which probably isn't going to be ridden, but interesting to note.
@user-xb8bs9vh5qАй бұрын
I hope nobody is in trouble aftermy my comment I know this kind of piece of art it’s all about perfection specially when you add the name Richard Mile on the handlebar but we still human we do mistakes ☺️
@Antoine_FrsАй бұрын
Haha, no bike band is near Richard Mille standard! From the ones I know the closest would be Time. Look also has above average quality controle, but there are still some mistakes like paint on the bottom bracket from time to time. The average QC isn't very impressive even for high-end brands.
