FULL BODY KIT INSTALL [ULTIMATE LEXUS IS 200t Build, EP 7]

I have one of these cars, but a little newer and in black. I'm a bit of a perfectionist myself, but your stuff would honestly keep me from taking it out of the garage. This is going to seem mean, but I personally like hearing the truth so I like to give it out too. From a distance, it all looks pretty good....But there's many issues man, and I'm pretty sure you're already aware of them. In case you're not; 1. I'd be unhappy with the latest paint matching if it were me. White is very tough to match to be fair, but it's too pale of a white and I'd ask them to fix it. 2. Then there's the Front bumper that stands out like crazy. It's obviously been repainted at some point and has either faded to more of a yellow white, or maybe was a bad paint match to begin with. Either way it is the first thing I notice about your car as my eyes are immediately drawn to it. 3. Next is that rear valance. The obvious paint defects on the top black area, paired with the horrible paint line between the black and the white is very hard to miss, and ruin what should be a good look, IMO. You're so close to having it look awesome, that it's a shame. Without fixing these issues, it resembles a kids car who either can't afford to do things right, or possibly doesn't know any better (we've all been there) That car is nice, and it deserves better. It wouldn't be too hard to take it to the next level with some further effort and detail. Best wishes on this, you're on the right track.

Yeah I know there’s a couple imperfections that I am going to get it fixed. The paint match is pretty spot on. It might be the camera. The front bumper is off white from previous owner but I’m going to get it repainted. And the rear black part got chipped away. I think from a reaction of the paints. Gotta get it fixed. Instead of alcohol you could have used Lacker thinner You put it on a rag and wipe it, but you don't let it sit. I'm a painter and I know what I'm talking about.

@@allboutthemojo I used the screws that it came with. However they aren’t stainless steel so they are rusty now. It should fit the f sport 350. They have the same body I think. The only difference is the engine.

I’ve been having some problems with putting my diffuser on , did you have to sand the parts where you put the 3M ? Mine is very oily

Mine was very oily as well. I wiped it with rubbing alcohol really good before putting it on

Sorry bro, but I'd be hard pressed to find a body kit thats stands out more from the rest of the car, than this. For all the wrong reasons as well. Kudos for doing the work youself but the kit is bad. Just my opinion, glad you like it though. Seems forced. Looks like a modded 2005 honda accord from the back
