I obviously can't translate it all but overall what that short flashback manga was about was Takagi finding out that there are authors in Jump too and deciding that's what he was going to do, and Eiji calling up shueisha, Yujiro answers and tells him to send in his work, 4 days later it comes and he's surprised at how fantastic it is, Eiji says he would be able to start working on a series while he's in high school. Takagi finds out Ishizawa is making his own manga, sees it and asks about panel composition and stuff and he says he hasn't sorted it yet. Also turns out Takagi actually had a crush on Miho but then notices that she likes Mashiro, so gives up. He sees the sketches Mashiro did of Miho and reckons that he could easily draw a manga heroine. Then I guess the actual manga story starts from there.
