I hate that these individuals are compelled to answer questions outside of the courtroom, even more so in public. I thought suspects have the right to remain silent because anything they say can and will be used against them in court. And to the nigerian police, where are the terrorists that keep killing people? Where are those responsible for stealing the country's resources? You are only for these low hanging fruit cases. We're not impressed! Do better!

When politicians steal why not bring them out like this for questioning? The medical student couldn't have been in the wards after 2 years in medical school you get to 5th year before you get to the wards or theathre

It would be good for Nigeria and Nigerians , if all reports of cyber and financial crimes suffer by Nigerians can easily be welcomed by the police without enormous charges or intimidation and not this selective prosecution for those who can afford to break the bank for their cases.

The Nigeria Police Force knew or must know that public interrogation is not acceptable in law enforcement. The alleged criminals are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and not guilty until proven innocent. Furthermore, in a civilized society alleged criminals have the right to remain silent and have the right to an attorney to represent them in the court of law. What this police officer was doing was just Grandstanding to the public. He is the Judge, Jury and Executioner. This is not how you carry out prosecution of criminals. It is in the court room in front of a competent Judge.

Why Will you be asking someone question about an investigation in public. Please tell them you decline to answer, what kind of online trial is this? If you prove yourself here will they release you “No” so why must you answer. Nonsense. I don’t see the need. Emiefele that is even answering a more serious crime has not been brought to public like this. NPF should do better. I wish someone will say” I decline to answer” let’s see what their response will be.
