Excellent!!! After 40 years of personal experience, gained from the backyard repairs I struggled through, I have considered myself to be somewhat knowledgeable in auto mechanics. However, after watching your rebuild, I now realize that I am still in grade school. Just great!! Truly impressive!!! Props to you!!! Great Job!!! Great Reward!!!

Maybe think about stripping the crank case of everything - hinging the top and bottom - add a little Red Flag to it (potentially using one of the Rods as the flag post) then it becomes the coolest mailbox for the shop ever...

I just came across your vid on the 1988 911 CE. You indicated that there was a missing Carrera badge on the rear of the car. I don’t think it was missing. I inherited one of these cars from the original owner. She drove it off the lot and has maintained it perfectly ever since. The car only has 18k miles and looks like the day it was driven off the lot. Within the past 2 mos, another 88 CE sold for $147k on BAT. The buyer of the car that you highlighted on your show got a great deal.

Kinda feel like the coolant reservoir is gonna cause a problem. Its not even needed on this because the radiator fill is the highest point of the cooling system. With the reservoir being lower than the radiator fill it would be overflowing before the radiator was even topped off.
