I rarely give a thumbs up, but your anti-propaganda notice and posting of both the Russian and Ukrainian flag is a noble gesture worth calling out. As an American who served in the US Sub force during the Cold War, I always appreciated the boats of the former USSR; especially this one! It was sad to hear the Dmitry Donskoy was finally decom'd this past February. Mostly though... fantastic work!! I can't wait to see the next installment.

@@ghkmodels You are very welcome mate. In fact, your video along with a couple more inspired me to build and try weathering subs for myself. I’ve done the Borei, Vanguard, Ohio, Oscar II and just need to finish the Typhoon. It’s my first time building models and obviously my first time weathering. I don’t think I’ve done a bad job, nothing like yours though lol. I’ll try upload a video of them.

Keep practicing and trying new techniques, Im sure you are already doing a good job on them 😉 I'm not doing anything else than playing around with some different techniques. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't 😅

Здравствуйте, спасибо за внимание к ТРПК СН Акула. Одна ошибка = отверстия в лёгком корпусе нужно было окрасить в "кирпично - красный" цвет "сурика" - специальной краски для защиты от ржавчины. Извините

That's a good point, but it is intended 😉 Black is supposed to represent holes while red will be only applied on borders. If possible, some red little grids will be added as the real ones 😉 Thanks again for your interest ! 🙂

I came across your build by accident and just love it. The amount of paint detail is amazing. It´s a shame that the political situation has such an influence on our hobby. I have the same kit at home and looking forward to build it. Where did you get your reference from? Painting the model according to the instruction is not an option.

Military ship models are extremely forgiving when it comes to paint. Realistically the more coats of paint they have the closer to the ship's actual treatment in real life. Experiment. If you don't like it just paint it again, it'll be all right.
