Awesome video. I’m a little confused how the neck is attached. It seems like fewer and fewer builders and using dovetails and I wonder why. Obviously they slip but it seems like the best way totally. Curious why you went w nuts and bolts and how that system works. Clearly you know what you’re doing so thought I’d ask. Awesome stuff and thank you for sharing

dovetail joint may take much more time to make it perfect fit. Bolt-on tenon joint is much easier and faster. Also for the future repair work Bolt-on neck is much more easier

Hi Steven, I have a Taylor Custom 224ce-K-DLX with koa wood body, and the pickup system is Taylor Expression System 2. I remember you have LR Baggs Pickup on your Lakewood Guitar, don’t you install a pickup on this Handmade Guitar you made?
