Thank you for reviewing the bow, Armin! I am even more excited to have it in my hands. 🙂 And, the comparison with the biocomposite was a great idea. Thank you, Martin. Happy shooting and best wishes 🙇🏻♂️👍🏹

Merci Armin !

Armin, I am glad that you let go of your Grozer Assyrian Biocomposite bow....because I am still really enjoying this magnificent piece of work!!! : 😊 (thank you again for that) There is no detectable waste of energy in useless vibration. These bows are silent! As an accomplished big game hunter (Deer, Elk and Bear), I would definitely recommend the Assyrian as a superb bow for hunting! It provides reliably consistent accuracy, is smooth to draw and very forgiving. No stacking here. After I draw the bow...I often look at the draw weight, just to confirm...as it feels like I am drawing a much lighter draw weight. It's just that smooth! A work of art. The Assyrian is hard to put down! Thank you, Armin! For everything! Congrats Brian! You are going to LOVE IT!!! 👍 🏹🦌🥩🏆

@@ArminHirmer ❤️ I sometimes think I might want one with a higher draw weight. Money is a little tight at the moment, but If I ever finally pull the trigger and do that... although this one has some sentimental value (as it came from you) It would mean more to me to see going back into your hands. Just a thought. ❤️

I I have now a Grózer laminated Assyrian, and before I had already two fiberglass versions of the same, all of them very good in their own category. Since I had in the hand, I’m planning to buy the biocomposit version; just need the budget. Though this video proved again, that Mr. Grózer(s team) is (are) excellent bowyer(s), and even this “hybrid” seems to be fantastic, nevertheless what I saw just convince me that I want to have the biocomposit .🙃

As usual a great review to watch again. Thanks Armin. But I have a question after looking the last few video's, I was wondering which brand glove your using. It looks like very good and tight protection for thumb draw.

I liked especially the comparison, as a bowyer and to see how 100gramm less weight translates in this 2-3mm thin limbs compared to the ca 10mm of the biocomposite. At least from a mass point of view, the modern material wins. I Need to check the speed of the biocomposite, it should be slower if mass would the main factor. On the why not? I heard rumours carbon can break more easily compared to glasfiber ? (as its a problem with carbon bikes too)- and definitely, at the end if lifetime, a carbon cannot rot and needs to be burnt above 1000 celsius to dissolve, so it will be special waste at some point. If it lasts a lifetime and is sold in small amounts, may be not too dramatic, and no animal has to die for it. Every material has its pro and cons.
@pyramid_scheme_termination36559 ай бұрын
You might gain probably a tiny bit of speed if the bowyer takes off a little bit of mass at the limb tips. Instead of triangle points, it could be shaven down to a rectangular shape. Also, it would make the bow shorter by an inch would would make it a tiny bit more maneuverable

Hi mr. Armin, I have question about arrow pass on horsebows. Only few producers set on pass some protection as stingray leather or shell nacre/horn. Others leave bare wood on pass. I have 2-3 mm deep abrasion on my bow after few weeks. Its normal, or its inflicts my fault technique of shooting (bad side khatra)? Thanks. Greeting from freezing neighbourhood, Southern Czechia.

I guess you should work on your technique and check the spine of your arrows

I have full carbon full turkish, a full carbon persian grozer and and an 2 different weight assyrian (43 and 54 pounds )biocomposites grozers.The Biocomposite ..For me the Biocomposites are quiet and soft with a beautiful draw ..The carbons are heavier and more sluggish ..full carbon is heavier than biocomposite and not as soft so lower pounds (less than 40 pounds )carbon feels ok but above the Biocomposite is superb..

I like the Assyrian since I bought the first one, the laminated Assyrian. The carbon one seems very interesting. Sorry to say, but the biocomposit is crap. I destroyed two of them by cracking the 'horn' in wintertime (the Hungarian and the Turk). I would like to compare the carbon Assyrian it with my Border Ghillie Dhu horesbow with about the double price. The only disadvantage of the Ghillie is the limited draw length of 28''
@recursr18929 ай бұрын
So the biocomposite is still a tad faster, but nearly the same. Hm. Surprising! Less Mass is not the main criteria then. Probably, less mass gives more acceleration, but more mass can store more energy, two contradictional effects. So modern bows then excel with low maintenance and sinew-horn have a better sustainability..
