How would you compare this to the sanlids x8 one piece recurve. For target dhootong and hinting but mainly just shooting. Or any other great bow for the price?

Hello Armin. I'm about to order the Nokhor and I have a question. On your comparison between the short and the regular, you seemed to prefer the short one. How is it that you took the regular for this session ? Do you still prefer the short ? Please answer.. I have to decide and as for my first bow, you're the main source ..

Combing this with your point not aim video with some shooting examples would be great, 3 fingers left or right handed looking from the right then the left on a target to show thet you don't have to aim and either way you will hit your target.

Beginner hammer grip. Won't get you far. forks are not aligned 90% up and down. Stick to bows, there are experts to explain slingshots. Although Being a shooter of both there is a similarity.

There‘s lot‘s of similarities between bows and slingshots. But slingshots excel at lightweight projectiles, shooting normal arrows isn‘t that fun, no power, while bows suffer when you use them with small balls. An interesting hybrid are this short darts (10cm length) used with slingshots for fishing.

You should use the opposite hand when shooting with a Slingshot, on that which you use to shoot with a bow. Trust me :D Used that think more then you in our case ;) p.s . Also find better bands. Those are crap. Use alternatives that are not standard. p.s. More also :))) dont grip in this way ... put thumb stretched on the one of the crotch, the index finger - stretched till the first phalanx on the other end of the crotch, and bend it behind. The figure is appearing like when you keep a rectangle around long sites. And btw... the size of crotch also should be customize exactly how it is to the bow, dresses and other personal things. That's way find and make you own from a wood. Syringa is a good one to be used. Prunus cerasifera also and any other which got with strong fiber-wood.

As always thank you for the great video Armin! 🙏 I have shot slingshot a lot more than I have shot a bow. When I was a child I always had slingshot in my pocket. In my region in Bulgaria we use single band slingshot(instead of wooden handle we use our bent index finger and wrap the band around it in a specific manner) - I have never seen anyone else using this type of slingshot apart from a guy from southern Romania. And because I have always shot my slingshot with my right hand I can now comfortably shoot my bow with both hands without any issues.

Finally, hope you stick with it they can be extremely precise tools with practice. You don't yet know the enjoyment of the full extension draw (full butterfly). Small poiter that the Wasp Apex is designed around the now very popular higher finger and thumb brace with the middle finger locked around the handle.

So glad you did a chrony test.............. The bands i fitted on the wasp Apex plus are set up for 8mm steels. same with bows the same rules of physics apply and are always guverned by the power to weight ratio . Many people assume bigger bands mean faster shots and this just isnt the case....... Such a great review and its clear to see how fun slingshots are to shoot and also how similar the two are.

Hello Armin, and folks in the comments, I'm sure a lot of us can relate to buying one of the numerous bows you have reviewed, due to your expert analysis and enthusiasm. Would you consider producing more content focusing on the longevity of the bows? Great performance and first impressions are one thing to get us to buy, but it would be nice to have a general idea to HOW LONG what we invest in will last. Thank you for the content, and I wish everyone the best❤

In the UK slingshots(catapults) are considered a toy and not a weapon, Yet if you use a stone to hunt(even a rat) with a slingshot you will be prosecuted because stoning something to death is somehow worse than shooting it with a shotgun. And Hunting with an Arrow is a real no no!

Have you seen the people flinging balls with a bow? Makes me go ouch just thinking about it.
@petrokemikal2 күн бұрын
@@0ooTheMAXXoo0 Yeah I have one.. Its actually really good, but most of them are badly designed, or the balls are a kind of afterthought.. If you shoot a standard 10mm slingshot ball out of it, your bow will explode after a few days im willing to bet.. Not enough kinetic energy leaving with the small balls so it all goes into the bow...
