The boiling frog is an apologue describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. The story is often used as a metaphor for the inability or unwillingness of people to react to or be aware of sinister threats that arise gradually rather than suddenly.

We tried both Cele Druid and Cele Scourge on Largos. The result: Scourge not only heals more (or, more accurately, gives enough barrier to sustain people better), but also does a bit more DPS. It's just the better hybrid build. DPS-wise, I think the gap between Cele Druid and Cele Scourge isn't that big in normal mode, but due to Druid's slow ramp (and reliance on the boss not moving out of Entangle etc.), in CM (where the phases are really short) Cele Scourge really pulls ahead by like easily 2-3k. Healing-wise, normal mode dies fast enough that both work well, but in CM you take a bit longer and the pressure on the last platform gets a bit sketchy with Cele Druid. Meanwhile on Cele Scourge it feels like I'm pressing random buttons and everyone is full HP and has their writ uptime the entire fight. I do play Cele Druid on MO usually, but I made the (correct!) call here to stay full heal. If your squad DPS goes above 350k, you end up getting blues lining up with spikes, and you can see on the meter that if I'd played Cele Druid we'd have been at about 355-360k squad DPS because I would've gained about 20k. I think in a really good group where everyone pulls close to benchmark numbers you can push past the bad bracket (I think 375k+ is okay again), but my Frogs usually sit just under 350k with me on Cele. We had two really good DPS backups in this clear, which pushed the usual DPS higher, so seeing our Cairn CM kill time, I opted to stay full heal for MO and it turned out that my napkin math/gut feeling was correct haha
