I'm glad that someone on KZbin acknowledged that liquid lipsticks do you have a texture to them when smacking your lips together. I recently bought five of the NYX catsuit liquid lipsticks and experience that weird texture for the first time. Did not like it at all. Thought it was just me because everyone loves them.

They actually recently released a new line of lipsticks called Soft Matte Lipsticks in stick form. They have a color called When In Rome which looks like Los Angeles and Palm Beach Vacay which looks like Bangkok. I think they permanently released the colors, just in stick form with new names.

I was disappointed with Translyvania too honestly. To solve the patchiness of it, I found that applying multiple layers and letting the previous layer dry completely before applying the next layer helped it and made it look like what I expected. But it's very time consuming, so I only wear it on days I have a lot of extra time in the morning.

The formula seems a bit different on these than the full sizes, hmmm they also seem to vary on pigmentation which I don't find to be a problem with some of the full sizes. These are some of my favorite lip products if not my favorite, I adore them so much. Any way, I would love a tutorial on this eye look, I know it's very simple but I am digging the colors.

I think they're neat, but for my very lined lips they don't work. I tried two colours, and the darker one easily and very visibly gathered in my lines. I don't know if it was just me adding too much product or not. Two thin layers might be better. I guess I will buy another shade and try again, because everyone looks so great in them.

Hey Jessica, can you please help me? A friend of mine asked for a "purple lipcolour" as a gift. I've bought NYX "Transylvania", NYX lip primer and some pencils, but I think that is not enough. bold colours in the soft mattes range are a total fail for me... Moscow (the blue one) for example was really blotchy and watery, I tried everything to make it work but I had to get rid of it, sadly. Which Suedes did catch your eyes?

i didn't have much time to look at the individual colors from each vault set, but it seemed like i was drawn to the suede colors more in general. still, i opted for the soft mattes bc they had more colors in the box and i crave quantity right now, just was hoping the quality would be up to par as well. we shall see in a week!

Is it just me or did you roll your eyes on one of those patchy swatches hahaha. Transylvania is one of my favorite colors ever, but just like you said, it is so patchy and uneven :( also the tubes for that color dry out really fast. Cannes is the perfect pinky nude for my skin tone. I haven't tried the suedes yet, but I really want to! Love your lip swatch videos! They always help me figure out which colors I want to buy!

Yup. I like junk food and I can eat my meal without being worried about Copenhagen disappearing. It'll slightly wear off on the inside of your lips but it's normal.
