Wow this is amazing, I’ve never tried this dtf before but feel like trying it, will save up, just a quick question, can you re use them or do you have to use a new image every time before pressing. What is the name of the paper you use much appreciated
@CraftedCustomCreationsКүн бұрын
@@toniwalker362 hi Toni so this is DTF not sublimation you print on to a film then the powder you put on turns to a glue when you heat it and it transfers the entire image so their will be nothing left on the film. So it's a new image every time. The link to the film we use is in the description as is the ink and powder. I hope this helps :)

Awesome Tutorial thank you for being so thorough. I'm fairly new to sublimation, tried a few dtf hacks with the sub ink, after watching this video, My question is, after doing the "ghost" print and press, would it be possible to press a standard sublimation print on top of the ghosted image or does it still need to be dtf ink in order for process to actually work and maintain durability? I appreciate any info you could offer. Thank you again and hoping to see more how-to's in the future!😊

@@cjjaskiewicz3322 we sublimated onto the DTF to try this theory but because it was on a cotton shirt the colours were lost. So unfortunately you would have to lay the colour DTF over the top unless it's a polyester shirt :)

Have you had any issues with the white ink clogging. Seems the DTF printers have issues with the white causing printhead issues if not used daily so curious if there is an issue with the white or do you do a daily printhead cleaning to keep it flowing?

I had this idea I just didn’t have it in me to do this with a printer. So just to make sure , 2 printers, one with cmyk dtf and the other with white dtf. For the white drf printer? Do you just use the same settings since it would be printing the exact same image but white? Not understanding the white drf part? You did greyscale? Why not just print twice once with color then once again but in the white toner printer hope I’m making sense
@CraftedCustomCreations22 сағат бұрын
@@andrewnegru hi thanks for watching the print settings determine how thick the ink is and because it's layed you want the white layer to be as thin as possible that's why we print the way we do you could do it the way your saying but the ink would be thicker so the image on the shirt would be thicker. I hope this helps :)

Hi, i need some clarification here. When you print in High Quality mode like matte printing option, the printer mixes the color inks to produce black isn't it. Then it only uses the black ink when in normal or draft printing right? So what if you just put white ink in where the black is supposed to be and print as greyscale when you want white and high quality option to get all other colors ? I don't know if I'm making sense here.
@CraftedCustomCreations6 күн бұрын
@@princedube8332 your making perfect sense but at some point you will have to power clean the printer and I just don't want to run the risk of colour going through the print head.. I still run full colour prints to make sure all the jets stay clog free. You could do it your way but personally I wouldn't run the risk of colours mixing :)

Hi guys how are you? Came across your page on KZbin will watching some video on DTF Printing. Oh and just want to say I'm from South Africa. I want to ask you do you think I will be able to use the Epson L121 EcoTank A4 singlefunction USB Printer? One DTF Printers will only be filled with the white ink and the other printer with the remaining colours for the DTF. And do I need to take out any thing like for instance the middle rollers to avoid smear marks or not? And will I be able to use Coreldraw Graphics to create my prints?, Looking forward to hearing from you guys. Thank you in advance..

@@Ninkies69 hi ive just had a quick look at the L121 that will be fine to use as for the rollers we've only had one print where the rollers were an issue.
