I have been thinking awhile that Full Counter is a bit overrated when it comes to vs battles, Here is why!

I'm surprised the other weaknesses of full counter wasn't brought up, like that it has a momentary cooldown with Chandler. So basically, machinegun-like attacks will get through; he'll counter the first blast, but can be nailed by the following blasts. I think that's why Meliodas supplements with clones vs multiple attacks occasionally.

This skill would be OP with Ultra Instinct just saying. Also, talking about speed in mangas and animes in general is a pretty tough challenge. Like, as an example, people as weak as Krillin being able to see part of the fight of Goku UI VS Jiren makes no sense, this also applies to the fact that speed makes your hits stronger as they have more energy. That's why sometimes you have to purposely say, yeah they are fighting at the speed of light even though they should be way over that based on scaling. So yeah as i said tough challenge. Here it's pretty obvious because character haven't bypass speed of light for the most part but speed is really a hard thing to understand as it also bend space and time which is a thing that we still don't understand to the fullest.

In the movie when he was trashing Belion he punched the dude with enough force to stom a elephant and basically teleported to his next location. Btw I’m not a full counter fanboy or anything because you’d probably be better of just dodging in the first place, unless the enemy is slow af or the attack is just so wide the whole continent will get fucked by it.

You all are forgetting that Zora ALSO has the ability to counter magic, since Meliodas can only counter magic attacks, Zora could theoretically counter a revenge counter with his trap magic and completely obliterate Meliodas +the Sins, especially if its bounced back by Asta after Zora launches it like he did against the elves (or black Asta could if base isn't enough to deflect a revenge counter)

Asta probably could cancel some of his abilities, but revenge counter and other moves could give Asta some trouble. Also there regeneration advantage for meliodas. But I honestly don't know who win the fight tho. If Asta face a magic user like Dark Schneider before time skip I think Asta could beat him. But other versions of Dark Schneider from post time skip to Adam of darkness would be too much.

there is 3 types of full counter full counter / magical Estarossa melee full counter and revenge counter all the damage he has taken with out his demon mark active will 10x the power and throw is all back at once ueser is meliodas

As we’ve seen with Asta, he can redirect magic attacks with his 1st sword. He does fire it back with increased force, but since it uses his physical strength to counter attacks and it’s limited to himself moving the sword, if he can’t see the attack, react in time or it overpowers him, it’s pretty much as useless as he would be without it in this situation. The same applies to Meliodas, however, the resulting attack will be more than 2x as strong and he doesn’t require physical strength. It’s also debatable what his limit is for Full Counter, as I don’t think it was ever overpowered before but not sure about that. When fighting Albion, he used full counter to defeat an enemy almost 2x his power level, but Albion was a relatively slow and dumb enemy.
