A load of darks in the Norge. This machine isn't the prettiest but is functioning. I plan to do some more videos with this machine so be on the lookout. Thank you for watching!

Boy Gso, I wouldn't mind doing my laundry in any of the machines that you take video's of, These were all great washer's back in their day and as far as I'm concerned they would be great for me to use today instead of the junk out on the market that they call washer's today!!! Thanks for the video and have a great night!!!

50 years later and this brings back great memories of a kid laying in front of Mom's washer and dryer and falling asleep to the sounds and the warmth of the dryer. Mom had a Norge washer and my Nana had a GE Filter Flow - both had unique sounds. Hearing this washer is still relaxing so many years later. Thanks for the post and glad the old girl is still running..

Norge proved you don't necessarily need turnover for good cleaning. Those behemoth agitators for the size of the tubs thrashed the WHOLE load back and forth. No wonder they had great cleaning scores back in the day. I know our 70s Norge did. Great vid Tyler.

It does a great job. Turnover be damned!

You’ve said it ! Yrs ago We had Norge & had that exact agitator & dam that washer would clean like nobody’s business! 😊 you talk about some serious wash action These old school Norge machines definitely did the job . That Agitation can kick some serious Ass .

The Lint filter. I'll put it one if people want to see it.

Gsohoover does it have something like an auger inside agitator?
@Gsohoover3 жыл бұрын
@@JohnAK72 No, it has holes near the bottom of the agitator to force water up through the inside of the agitator. The agitator is called a burpolator.

Nice to see this back in action. I always thought they did a great job of washing and in this vintage one rinsing as well. I was wondering if you ever tried some touch up paint they sell to go over the rust spots so that it looks a little nicer and helps stop the rusting? I just purchased some rust oleum touch up for my vintage whirlpool portable that had some rust spots it looks much better.
@Gsohoover3 жыл бұрын
The POR15 helps stop the rust. I really need to paint over the whole thing.

I wonder why that drain portion doesn’t last pretty long compared to General Electric. Norge went out of business decades later.

Solid tub, spin drains and throws the water through the holes in the side. Why it appears so quick.

Made when people don't care about saving water Like all Berg Warner products they rust in the same place

Solid tubs don't use alot of water. Didn't know these had major rusting problems. Usually the pump is what killed these.
