Full Cycle wash of work shirts in the 1965 GE Filter-Flo. I also put some small towels in the wash to see how this machine cleans them. Thank you all for watching!

These washing machines have a great wash action and that filter is really effective. I cant think way modern machines dont have a pump and filter system

I am not sure if any have a lint filtering system.

@@Gsohoover Yeah its really odd why they dont especially on the modern machines (like one of mine) that actually pump the water up onto the top of the drum .. I have dogs and have to give things a quick spin in the tumble dryer just to get the last of the hair off everything...

You should thank the Lord you've got a good old-fashioned washer like that today's new washing machines don't even clean clothes they don't even have enough water in the cleaning thing they just sit there and play around and go this way and that way I'm glad you found your good old washer the hope it keeps working for you keeping in good shape thanks for sharing a wonderful video

Look at that washer go!!! Love the old conventional center post agitator washing machines!!!

Gso my guy.. love it. That famous swish & swoosh. Sounds like washer music. Another thing I love is that they didn’t require much detergent just enough and with the agulator agitator would beat the dirt out of those clothes.

The Whirlpool you just posted and the 1965 Kenmore should have the same size baskets.
@Gsohoover4 жыл бұрын
The agitator sizes make a slight difference. The Whirlpool is better IMO.

Revisiting this video. Tyler do you know if all GE filter flo's had this long of a wait before the rinse fill ? Wonder what the purpose was for. Maybe part of the suds kill ?
@petermaz7014 жыл бұрын
Definitely taken a bit long to fill. It washes just beautifully very smooth, you got a real good one there. I would think a keeper? So with this washer you can’t lengthen or shorten the wash time it’s pre-determined?
@Gsohoover4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Peter, definitely a keeper and a permanent part of my collection. Thank you for watching.

I want one of those. Do you have any idea where I can find one online and buy?

What year did they stop making them brown, yellow and green?
@Gsohoover4 жыл бұрын
This was the last year of this color. I think GE stopped doing colors in the 70s.

Question...the camera is kinda wiggly, are you using a tripod or just holding the camera?
