The final product is lovely--I'm glad that you were able to pull in some color at the end. It makes it more wearable to my mind, as it's less boring than having all neutral colors. That is my issue with most "minimalist" capsule wardrobes. As you say, just because you have a small capsule doesn't mean you can't be colorful & creative. The colors you chose work beautifully together and balance the wardrobe in a way that makes it feel larger.
@wonderwardrobe6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I also think it’s quite boring to always wear just neutrals, the outfits usually look so much alike.. Fashion is supposed to be fun as well as your wardrobe 😉👌

Not everyone can work with a professional personal shopper, but the tips you pick up while having this experience are timeless. That’s why I’ve put together this video to show you some of the most common tips that I use when building a sustainable capsule for my clients. Let me know if you’ve found these useful, or if you have some tips that you rely on all the time.

No, no chance :) It’s rare that clothing would not fit after I check the measurements. It’s more often that shoes I choose are not comfortable or don’t fit in size. But in that case I just find some alternatives

Wow daria, a very interesting video and it's nice to see how you work with your customers. What I would be interested in: in outfits with the same colors (in this example, the purple bag and the purple skirt): how can you always be so sure that the colors are perfectly matched? Are customers really 100% satisfied with your visual guide when they receive the clothes? I just can not imagine it ... on the screen looks so much different in color ... LG Sonja
@wonderwardrobe6 жыл бұрын
I don’t care if colors match perfectly in this case. It’s not necessary, even if the shades are different it will still look fine. But if I need to know the exact shade I usually check it on Instagram. I go to the brand page, press Mentioned tab and look for the item and how it looks on other people. My clients trust me, otherwise why would they hire me? :) I offer online shopping since 2012, I’ve got lots of experience with it.

Very versatile small capsule, but I can't seem to make myself wear two non-neutral colors without a print, etc. to tie them together. I couldn't wear the red sweater with the amethyst pants; my OCD brain is too matchy-matchy. I envy those that can pull it off comfortably, I just can't do it, myself.
@epbluestar37323 жыл бұрын
I never wear the same thing and to this day I can remember a woman coming up to me and saying oh I like those gray pants. I know you wore them a number of times last week. This was the first time i had even worn them but it made me so paranoid
