Where I come from (Angola🇦🇴) the government is as bad as Nigeria and the whole of Africa, but cases like this lady, Mohbad, Austa and others I’ve heard here would be taken very seriously, even if at the end of the day we don’t get the results that we wished for, but at least those people involved would be hold accountable for their deeds, it’s so sad to see countries like Nigeria, Gambia and other west African countries with a very poor law order. May God help and may we never be killed, because it’s the death person that looses everything, everyone would move on with their lives and forget about you.

The news got me scared at the time... How can people be so cruel. Memories of the time i got lynched inside a "One-Chance" vehicles make my fears even worse. Those men stepped on my face, beat me and almost strangled me to death and threw me by the road side while the car was still in motion after taking all my money and gadgets. The people who commit these crimes probably don't see their victims as humans. How on earth would you behold another human being who you can almost believe is another person's source of joy and/or livelihood and do such a grievous harm to. Sometimes I wish there was a Minister of Karma somewhere that we could protest to, because it's crazy how people get away with these hideous crimes. What offence could Bamise have committed to deserve such a cruel fate? God 🤦‍♂

It's very scary to exist in a country that gives no remorse for it citizens. I am a Naija wife and it makes me feel traumatised staying in Nigeria or raising my children there. Because all of these things the government does not care about or even having small as emergency services. My goodness. May your soul rest in peace Mss, So sad 😭

If such happens here in Canada, the transport company will settle the family of the girl millions of $$ to cover up for their loss because she ain’t coming back & those involved certainly face jail sentence, but unfortunately this is Nigeria.

Hello Barrister, I do admire you and how you make your presentations. The gestures, smiles and eloquence you add to the presentation force one to listen to your story down to the last word even when one never intended to. This is Nigeria for you. A country where the judiciary is the last hope of the rich and the mighty, instead of the poor and common man. Do not be surprised to hear that the driver has been set free and has gone back to his job. Me, I will not be surprised.

Ooh God, this sent chills to my spine. Here in the capital city of Uganda 🇺🇬, our government seems to be on the case of offering public transport to one businessman sending away the other taxi's maybe. But from your discussion, l can sense from loopholes from the Lagos system and I think it may not be far from what we may incur here if measures are not put in place. I am asking lots of questions now and l hope our government could learn from such errors

My heart aches for her family. Just wondering if there are civil laws against Lagos state government that family can employ in the event a criminal case fails? What would that look like, and what is the likelihood of success? I know we are talking about Nigerian government here… but I’m just curious about the laws provisions more so than anything.

This is what we get for allowing incompetent leaders rule us! Justice have gone on holiday in this corntree! What a pity! What a failed system! Some weeks ago I unfortunately entered 'one chance' cab in abuja, I was Lucky to have survived it, after several beatings, my shoulder blade was fractured, I had impacts on my head, and a lot of terrible things that was done to me, several days down the line after I was discharged from the hospital, I went to the police station to file a report, after many explanations and writings in different offices that I was taking to, the police encouraged me by saying "God will fight my battles"! ....hmmm! They have left their job for God to come down and do it for them! What a corntree!!!

@@ijeomanjokuI hate to say it but you are wrong. Why? When you get a chance, please feel free to look up the Greg Reese report on secret crimes that goes on behind the public eyes in the United States. There are so much crimes hidden from the public that occurs in the United States. Please, look up the Greg Reese report that gets updated each week and/or month on what the U.S. Government (above the law) does in the United States. To add to it, isn't it funny all the celebrities/famous people have been pressurizing the U.S. Government itself to change the Gun constitution laws in the United States for the past several years due to the tremendous increase of gun violences crimes each and every year??? But the U.S. Government (Senators, Congress, etc.) refuses to do anything about it. Why? Because the Gun business is a big financial profitable business in the United States. Then you also have numerous unsolved cases across the United States for the past several years. Why? Please look up FBI most wanted criminals list online when you get a chance to do so. You will be amazed to see the list of wanted criminals and/or fugitives that are still not yet caught over the past several years or decades. I guess you also forgot about that. There are so much unsolved crimes in the United States, you can even look them up online. And these criminals aren't yet facing justice. Hope these explains to you why I said United States is even worse when it comes to crime scene. Not to talk of the child trafficking cases that occurs a lot each year in the United States. Peace and God bless ✌️.
