Davidson Gigliotti is one of the earliest settlers in SOHO. A video artist, he bought his loft on Broadway and converted the decrepit space int a studio and living space. He shared the building with Nam June Paik, Shigeko Kubota, Yoshi Wada, Simone Forti, among others. On this program, Gigliotti describes his life in SOHO and tells vivid stories about Fanelis, his work/construction on the building he lived in and more. A true Renaissance man and pioneer of Soho, he still lives there. I ran into him in front of my door on Prince Street and he gladly offered to tell his story in his studio in Soho.
