at the time, I thought killing Geto just for a brain-thing to use his body was a waste. but damn, after the Culling Game arc, Kenjaku has shown himself to be a great villain to the series.

JJK has always been about subverting expectations (atleast until the botched final arc) and unrealized potentials. Having Geto actually fail at his world level plan because it was indeed naive and "he isn't Gojo" to bring in a new villain was amazing. The structure was so well built that S2ep9 was a masterpiece

I have rewatched reactions but not the direct episode and so I don't remember Gojo actually giggling when he slammed Hanami on the wall. Imo he should have just had that psychotic grin but not actually audibly giggle, kinda ruined the scene for me (still 10/10 episode).
