Granted, it’s highly unlikely that someone will have damp, but I’ve seen less likely things before (such as someone winning the world championship with a Pachirisu). Mew was the only member of his team with a chance of changing their ability, but it didn’t have any moves to change the opponent’s ability, so other than Dynamaxing he can’t really get around it.

I have a great idea to piss your opponent off and have a good laugh. Use as many Pokémon as necessary to set up 3 layers of spikes, 2 toxic spikes, and stealth rocks. Then switch into dragonite or any other Pokémon with a move that will drag out another Pokémon. Dragonite is good because of multi scale and roost. You can set him up if you want, the the max hazards have to be up.

One of my favorites for this strategy is Aggron, as it gets Rocks, Dragon Tail, Steel moves to poke at immunities such as Fairies and Cradily, and T-Wave to buy more time by Paralyzing the opponent's entire team as you thumb through them with the constant phasing.
