I also use my middle finger to apply my under eye concealer and pull slightly on the corners of my eyes to put on shadows and liner. I’m 61 and I don’t feel it had any negative effects on my eyes. I absolutely love this Charlotte Tilbury look on you!

I’m 63 and I had oily skin until I started menopause in my late 40’s and my skin went a bit wacko and I had to go on prescription Accutane for 6 months to stop the over production of oil and it worked great! By the time I was 50 my skin had normalized and now at 63, it’s dry in the winter and normal in the summer. Thanks for the good info.

Absolutely Beautiful Risa, but I guess everything looks beautiful on someone that has a gorgeous canvas to work with, you make doing a wing liner look so easy, I wished Charlotte Tilbury was sold in Sephora stores here in Australia 🇦🇺 instead of having to purchase her products online and having to pay the exchange rate and shipping costs, it makes for a very expensive brand. I'm glad you pointed out that the powder in the CT palette isn't the same shade as one of the standalone powders, like you would expect it to be. I recently watched a video by Charlotte Holdcroft in which she noticed something similar with the bronzer in that palette. It's supposed to be the Filmstar Bronze & Glow product, but the shade is noticeably different when swatched side-by-side. This is a major bummer for me, as my primary interest in this palette was to try out several different popular CT products/formulas in one purchase. I have never tried the brand and honestly it is out of my price range, but something like this seemed like a more accessible way to try out the products. I've had my eye on CT for a long time, particularly the cool, contour-y Filmstar Bronze & Glow, which just seems so ideal for my skintone and general aesthetic. I was excited to buy this, but now I'm on the fence, knowing that the bronzer and setting powder aren't what I expected or hoped for. Hopefully the formula is the same and it's just a shade difference, but I really have no way of knowing. I'm not sure why the brand would make this choice.

Gorgeous look Risa, its great that CT put the highlighter in a smaller pan and add the finishing powder but for such a big brand its disappointing that there is no deep palette, she has moved in the right direction with her foundation shades but not with these palettes i don't get it, i do love the look of the light palette its just what i would use

I agree I don't think the ring finger is going to do that drastic of a difference then patting out your concealer with your middle finger it just depends on if you're pulling and tugging at your skin but that's it people just have to be judgmental

I just got a CT eye palette for the first time, at a huge post swatched discount. But I have to say the formula is stunning and unlike any of my other brands. And it does not translate on camera except to look smoky and natural. I’m 47 and it does not crease and accent texture like every other shimmer I have. Wish I had tried it sooner. Would love to see you rate all your CT eye palettes or an update at some point if you’ve already done one. You look fab as always. Would also love to see you swatch compare all of CT blushes you have, lipsticks, gloss etc. Could make a series of vids.

Yes I totally agree, when I was in my 20's, my skin was was so oily people would tell me I'm glowing from the oil, I could not wear use creams, mooisturizers etc, unless they were marked oil free, like from clinique, now I love that I can wear things with actual oil in them and usually no problem, Im in my 50's..haha, I guess that's one good thing about aging..☺

I just found you today and have been binge watching!!! Your voice, your mannerisms, your realness, honesty and other qualities have made watching you great and enjoyable 😀. I very got a list going now..lol. I am in my 40s and feel lost and overwhelmed with the make up world. One of the major one is all these younger ones doing the videos and my more mature skin has "noped" out of everything ...lol 😆. I do have hooded downward eyes so your tips are wonderful. Use to have really oily skin but for the past 2 years went dry?!?!?!?! So I really appreciate you showing both oily and dry skin tips. Now i do have a HUGE PROBLEM. I am ALLERGIC to SPF. I love that you alway remind people to use their SPF moisturizers and foundations with SPF. So important to always protect your skin. But, that leaves me without 💔 options when it comes to foundations. I was really excited about the new Covergirl but when SPF was mentioned my heart sank. Nice! I ordered this version of the palette. I think I read in CT website that the face powder is a fair/light shade (or something like that) so it’s maybe a mix of two colors or in between shades? Great video. Appreciate the honesty ! I have the eyeliner and would not purchase again. It is very easy to use because of the design , however Ive had it for about 3 weeks and used 4-5 X , stored it correctly and it is pretty much dry. :(

I have oily skin as well but I love mixing the Hollywood Flawless Filter with my moisturizer and using spot concealer on low key days. It looks great on Zoom calls.
