I feel like we all gave beauty companies the wrong impression that a product being pigmented was good in and of itself, when actually for some products, it’s helpful to not have so much pigment. I think the trend of hyper-pigmented blush was a net gain for deeper skin tones though!

Okay idk why I've never paid attention to that brush!! My FAVORITE cream/liquid blush brush is this little guy by ELF...it has a clear handle and they make others with the clear handle but for some awful reason they discontinued the blush brush!! So I've been searching for a similar brush and that looks like she may be a good contender!

Those NYX blushes are CRAZY pigmented. Which is great for anyone with a deeper skin tone. I'm so pale that I've struggled to make it work, lol. But, I haven't given up yet

i personally don’t like how crazy pigmented nyx blushes are, same with their buttermelt bronzer 😪 it is difficult to pick up the right amount… but it definitely looked good on you! compared to that l’oréal blush that literally disappeared on your skin 😭

She used the wrong brush for it she was expecting it to be as intensely pigmented as rare beauty blushes. These are probably best with just fingers

Could you try the new L'Oreal Infallible setting spray in your next drugstore video? The aerosol one in the red can, supposed to be 36 hours transfer proof. That's a crazy claim but I just want to know if it's like 8 hours transfer proof. It's 30$ in Canada so frankly I must know if it's a total bomb or if it's a slightly less expensive alternative to the Huda Beauty or Charlotte Tilbury setting sprays. AND I NEED SOMEONE TO BE SERIOUS ABOUT IT. I mean wear test, up close, no blot, texture and finish description in detail. And your funny little extra descriptions about scent or "face feel" are always helpful. I can't trust the Drugstore Queens on this one, they all say it's the best. I can't trust the Luxury Queens either, they all say they are reaching for CT over it. I need someone to just tell it like it issssssss.

I normally pass on drugstore shadow sticks because they are always dry and go on patchy but I did try the L’Oréal ones and I was shocked at how creamy and blendable they are for a drugstore product. I’ve definitely had worse ones from higher end brands. So weird that you had the opposite experience.

I hear you - maybe it’s about how old or fresh the shadow sticks are? I tried the Elf ones and they were super dry and hurt my lids, didn’t blend and got all patchy - I returned them

I hate when eye liners perform like that skipping and patchy. NYX makes my favorite drug store eye liners. I like the idea of shadow sticks but don't reach for them much. Love Loreal Colour Riche lip sticks. Your look is clean and cute.
