The more of Jane's products I use, the greater my respect for the brand. I am quite the fan of her blushes and really enjoy the finish the Pure Pressed powder gives. My favourite product is the Lip and Cheek Stain. I expected nothing more than a basic lip balm. I was so wrong!!!

Hi I used Jane Iredale makeup many years ago when my eczema was pretty bad and I loved her tinted moisturiser and the liquid minerals. I did like the pen concealer she had at that time too. I haven't used her makeup for a long time, but I am tempted to try it again after this video. The only thing I didn't like was the fairly short expiry date on her products (due to them being a cleaner formula). At that time I didn't wear base every day, so they expired before they ran out. She had a really good colour range back then and I don't suppose that has changed. Thanks for the reviews and best wishes = really pretty look.

Try the loose minerals and on a separate plate add some rose water and face oil/cream as you go to make a liquid. This way the minerals last a very long time. I find this works so well. Good luck!!!

This was a terrific tutorial for the Jane Iredale fan, which I am. I am new to your channel, and found this video when I was googling tutorials for Jane Iredale's products beyond the quickies on the site. I do have most of the products you mentioned and will be filling in with the eye trio and pencil since I go for a natural, subtle look. Comment about eye primer: I prefer the tinted moisturizer to the primer(canvas) on me. I find the primer too drying.

I am new to your channel and have been watching your Jane Iredale videos. I am enjoying the Pure Pressed Base and am interested in trying the Liquid Minerals and BB cream to spot conceal areas of redness as I have rosacea. Even without the Liquid Minerals and BB cream, the pressed base does a great job! I used these products years ago when I was diagnosed and shouldn’t have stopped using them. I placed an order with Harben House and I have some eye shadow palettes, blush and a Mystikol liner coming. You do a great job explaining how these products work. Thank you!

You’re so beautiful Mandy, thank you so much for this tutorial. I love the highlighter, it’s so pretty. You’ll see by my profile photo, I have very Irish colouring. Pale skin, freckles and red hair. I always struggle finding foundations that accentuate my freckles because I’m so pale. Most foundations cover my freckles, which is a shame, and leave me looking very washed out. I’m loving the base foundation you used with the pearls, it left such a lovely suntan glow on your skin. I’m wondering if it would be a good foundation for me. Have you done a video for my type of colouring and skin type before? Sadly I have terminal metastatic breast cancer, I was diagnosed when I was only 43. I’ve been living with the disease for 5 1/2 years now. I’m so blessed because I was only given a 3 to 6 month prognosis. On top of my Irish colouring, my medications make me look even more pale, it’s so hard getting a balance. Up until now, I’ve only been on hormone treatment to starve the cancer, I’ve not been on chemotherapy, so I’m blessed to still have my hair. I feel that, looking well on the outside, makes me feel less Ill on the inside. Thank you again for this beautiful tutorial, I love the products you’ve used and will definitely try them out. 🙏🏻🌻🌻🌻

Hi Diane!! I personally like using a concealer for eye primer because I have a lot of discoloration on my eyelids. You can definitely use any concealer you have. I really like the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer; it seems to work the best on me. And I use SPF after my moisturizer as my last step in my skincare routine. :) And thank you so much! I’m not kidding you I was planning on messaging you about Jane Iredale. In the powder, is Golden Glow good all year round? Have you tried the Suntan powder? We have similar coloring and your color suggestions tend to be spot on for me. You are a touch darker than I am so I’m wondering if you have tried Suntan and if it would be good or if it may lean too pink.

LOL..perfect timing!! I do use Golden Glow all year round...it works perfect for me. The Suntan is a bit more pink so if you lean more warm, I would probably steer from that shade in the powder. The Golden Glow seems to work for so many skin tones. I hope you can make it work! xoxo

I hope you fall in love with the Liquid Minerals if you give it a go again. The Allure is actually a powder...it just applies so smoothly. Sorry that you didn't have luck with the corrector. I have found that using the tiniest amount works best, because a little goes a long way.

I’ve tried asking Jane Iredale customer support but they didn’t fully answer my question. I have just started using the Jane Iredale Pressed Base Foundation in Warm Sienna. I’m now obsessed, as it’s the best powder foundation I’ve ever used and so fast to apply. I have dark circles (I’m 48) and the under eye darkness is like a reddish purple color. I didn’t know which concealer works best with the Pressed Base and if you apply the color corrector and concealer before pressed base or after. I’ve looked for tutorials on this, but nothing I’ve found is actually clear. Your video was phenomenal but curious about how it all works with the Pressed Base. I’d greatly appreciate your advice. They have since put out a new concealer (the enlighten plus) which is amazing for color correcting and concealing in one. I use the shade "01". If you search my channel, you can see me use it in many videos. I prefer to use my concealer before the purepressed. Hope this helps!

Hi Mandy, you popped up in my feed and I'm so happy you did!! I use and love Jane Iredale's line and have yet to discover some of her products. Did not know about the corrector. I use most of what you did as well and am always looking for clean makeup. The one thing that bothers me is that she uses Dimethicone!?? Which is Silicone. What are your thoughts about that? Then other clean line I use is Dr. Hauschka. Very clean except he uses sometimes Lecithin (Soy), not fond of that. But his Mascara is amazing!!! Could you maybe compare Jane's and Ilia's and maybe Dr. Hauschka's Foundation?? Which is cleaner and better?? That would be wonderful! Glad I "found" you :) Hugs from up North (Canada) xoxo

I am so happy you are here! I personally don't have an issue with dimethicones in my products. The molecule isn't big enough to penetrate the skin, just sits on top and smooths everything out. If someone's skin is inherently irritated by them, I would definitely say to steer clear, but I don't seem to have that issue. I haven't tried anything from Dr. Hauschka but I will have to check it out. xoxo Oh, and I do have an entire channel dedicated to clean beauty if you want to check that out. Hey Laura! I thinks sometimes people are just super sensitive unfortunately. I don't know of anything that will take that away per se. Have you tried the Jane Iredale eye products too? Is it eyeshadow as well or just mascara?
