Thank you! I literally wanted to just keep it real. I wasn't saying people having bad skin can't wear bright lipsticks/eyeshadows, I was just sharing my own insecurities! My skin wasn't doing well and the foundation was making it look even worse so of course I wanted to share that!

Oh my god! That foundation would be perfect for me because of the yellow undertone!! My skin is pale but oily and very yellow undertone! I think I loved the foundation...! :)

i so agree about not being able to pull off anything if the base makeup isn't working. i feel then that it is best to just go with a gloss, mascara, spot conceal and forget about the rest.

Flower Beauty makes really good blushes! (And lip products! Lip swatch video, perhaps?) That Hourglass foundation, nobody seems to like it. Their stick foundation is great though, it's my go-to foundation for traveling, when I'm too paranoid about a liquid foundation spilling/leaking in my luggage.

I still like using bare minerals powder foundation from time to time and it just blends so beautifully into the skin. I have never had luck from powder foundations from the drugstore.

That mauve/spice lippy does pick up on the outer corner of your eye look. That foundation was so sad. Thanks for being such a good sport about it. The lipsticks are the only thing that I might try. I have seen other reviews on them and they did do well.

When you asked if we're going through something, I started looking for the date of the video and couldn't find it and had a mini hissy fit (one of many today). Then I saw it's from today. I only use powder foundation. My skin does not like liquid or cream foundations, they always pool up in weird places on my face. I really like that maybelline powder foundation. It does have good coverage compared to other drug store powder foundations. The shade range should definitely be improved.

A good tip or hack Emily for super long lashes is to heat up you lash curler with the hair dryer just for a little bit and test it with your fingers before you put it on your lashes so its just warm and then curl seriously it work like a dream your lashes will point to the sky lol no but really it works so good, ive been doing it for along time and it hasent damaged my lashes at all.

I love the blushes by Note Cosmetics, Flower Beauty, and Milani~ they are my go-to's. They are all pretty sheer and powdery, but buildable (but I guess that is just what I prefer, haha). Jaime Paige did a video with drugstores products and she used burt bees cream blushes it looked really pretty ! Otherwise the Nars liquid blushes are BOMB if you want to invest :)

I too am having an issue with this eyeshadow palette it is so patchy and I’m so disappointed oh well I am mostly confused by the primers because I put it on and they just start looking awful especially the black primer but very unblendable shadows

I relate so bad to the reptillian skin thing that you mentioned with the foundation. My skin sucks up moisture like its been in the desert for months. Unless a foundation is like ultra mega super duper glowy, I can't even look at it without flinching. I'm sorry that you had some bad luck with the products in the video. Hopefully you find some better stuff next time!

I hate the idea of the 'half' pump because wouldn't it make more sense to make a pump that deposited less product per pump because no way you ever manage a half pump every time (even if that amount works for some people) because from what I''ve heard, if it DOES work for you, but you use more than half a pump, it goes to shit ASAP

Dehydrated skin can be the absolute WORST!!! Particularly with the undereyes. I apply like 5 layers of gel serum and still will cake. Oh well. I wish I wasn't ridiculously allergic to Maybelline because those are all gorgeous. Thanks for the upload!

Dehydration is hard to deal with especially during winter! My skin hate thicker moisturizers so I have to use thin layers of moisture and then a not too thick moisturizer... Very high maintenance lol Ah that sucks for the Maybelline lipsticks since they have so many and the formula is so good :/
