I mean, if I have two hours, I typically do a very different type of look, usually with a more complex eyeshadow look. If I have 45 minutes, it's paired down a bit. If I have 10 minutes, I keep it super light and simple and skip a lot of steps. But I always enjoy the process no matter how short or long it takes. :D

I usually give myself an hour to get ready, I give myself a half hr for shower and hair and then half hour for makeup! But I can totally take 2 hours given the choice🤣 I used to do live makeup videos and it was so hard! I'd take at least an hour just to do my makeup by time I talked about everything! I don’t know why but I found this video super relaxing! Anyways, I really enjoy light and glowy makeup on the face, but I still do enjoy a lot of eyeshadow mostly because that is my favorite part. I really wish more people would do dark grungy looks with burgundies plum purples dark greens and blues that sort of thing because those colors inspire me so much! For every day though, I rarely ever wear eyeshadow, sometimes if I have time I put some bronzer in the crease. My day to day makeup is maybe I fill in my brows a little moisturize on my face, tinted lip balm. For days when I’m going somewhere and want to look nice I then do a very no makeup look with bb creme,lightly bronze ,blush ,brows and light eye shadow look,lips. I like a summer glow but not heavy😊

I loved this one take idea. There are so many tutorials that cut out the steps I want to see....like brows. I am hopeless with brows and love when others show it so that I can figure out what to do with my own. It's also nice to know that it doesn't actually take people 15 minutes to do a full face. Granted, you still did more in 30 minutes than I ever could, but I at least feel better about how long it takes me. Oh and I get ready in 45 minutes... and that includes everything: getting dressed, breakfast, skin care, makeup, etc. But my everyday makeup is usually just a tinted moisturizer and mascara. No time (or light) to go all out when you get to work by 630 am.

This makeup video is so funny. Allie you killed me with the “ I don’t know” phrase haha. I’m more into natural, like less is more because of my combo-oily skin. But the bold lip is my calling right now, but occasionally a bold eye look is great, but only if i feel fancy.

I like this type of video of yours.. gave us the real, actual time you spent getting ready. It felt sincere too cos you were kind of conscious of the camera/audience when it was still just you while filming this. Oh and hope you always include doing your brows in your vids.. 🤗

I definitely enjoy these kinds of videos. They're a lot more casual compared to the usual edited ones, and I think it's fun to watch something a little different from time to time. They also help show how no one's perfect (and I mean that in a good way!). The little mistakes, like when you dropped a product, are cute and funny! I can see how this would be stressful, but I think you did a great job =)

i never ever comment on videos but i HAD to comment on this one because i just loved it!! not that you don’t seem genuine & relatable in your edited videos (bc you absolutely do), but this was just on a whole other level in a great way! i loved seeing the entire process with all of your random thoughts & questions & stories. it was just so refreshing & enjoyable & relatable in the midst of every video i see on youtube being edited. still LOVE all of your videos, even when you do edit them, but this one was just SO fun & made me laugh & smile. i felt like i was just sitting here with a friend doing her makeup & was obsessed. you’re so talented & gorgeous, my sister & i adore you. thank you for a great video Allie! :)
