You get a ton of PR it feels compared to how much you buy vs. other creators I watch, and I always find it very admirable that you won't even try something that you don't think will work for you so that it's fresh for someone else.

I started panning last year and there were moments where I was bored of the things I have but I also realize that I have every color I could ever want and it just takes a little more effort to find that color in my collection. I don’t need to use one palette only for an eye look. I now realize I’m not bored of my collection, I just had to open my mind and realize that I still love everything I own. It’s 2025, it’s almost impossible to come up with something new.

I can't do project pan either because I get bored of using the same products everyday for a long time, specially knowing that I have other products that I love and I want to use as well. What I do enjoy is doing a shop my stash kinda thing and rotating it every 2 weeks or 10 days depending how bored I get. And that's helps me use and enjoy more things in my collection. 😅

I love that so many beauty creators I follow have been discussing this! Having intentional, mindful balance also encourages your viewers to not feel like they’re missing out if they don’t get every single new release that’s being hyped up. Using Old Makeup videos also inspire me to pull out some products I’ve forgotten about or haven’t used in a while.

I have put myself on a low buy this year! I’ve been out of control the last 3-5 years and my makeup collection is the size of a KZbin creator! And I am only one person , I can’t possibly use it all😵‍💫. I just get FOMO so bad and I really LOVE makeup / skin care etc.. I want it all lol! Not getting this years Beautylish Lucky Bag was sooo hard but I stayed strong and didn’t cave! My wallet definitely appreciates it. So, I love seeing videos on older makeup ( I always have , I love getting new inspo on old favs) so thanks for making these videos ! 💕

I have enjoyed these conversations lately from Beauty influencers. I think the balance comes down to intentional consumption, voting with your wallet (supporting brands with a similar ethos to your own), and only buying things you need or that really spark joy or excitement, etc.

I've been on a semi official low buy for a few years now (when I first got into makeup I bought way too much) and honestly it's gotten really easy. Except when I'm super stressed or sad, then I want to buy all the things and it's hard. I also project pan, but I don't have a lot of makeup comparatively, so it's easier for me to consistently use those items while still getting use of everything I own. I'm also big on usage goals, vs the goal of completely using up the thing. I do the 10 by (season) seasonal projects that are run on reddit. It helps me get more familiar with the things I own, get creative with them, and to truly see how i feel about them. Watching these using old makeup videos is great because I love seeing creators go back to old favorites. I wish it was more common.

I am happy with your buy less and use what you have and bring those items into light. I think a lot of people get FOMO, and then buy a lot of makeup that is not needed, bc you see a content creator using it in a video and making it seem like it’s the best product out now. I totally relate to appreciating what you already have. I have a few things I only buy one of to force myself to finish (concealer, setting spray) but I can get so caught up with shiny new eyeshadow palettes and blushes and wanting to buy them all!! I recently realised that even if I had no new makeup, I would enjoy what I have. I play with different palettes and rotate them. Next is my Ace Beaute palettes. It has been a hot minute since I used them. I tend to favour my Natasha Denona. I love your beautiful look and I love the new hair colour. Goes with your look. Hi BB..Suggestion why can you do oldies but goodies twice a week/weekend.. like a Monday or sun/sat... I love old but good things..and just sometimes it because it is overwhelming for New items..in makeup or anything. Loving the eyes..this is why I love oldies but goodies in makeup..I don't gave this palette, but I do have these colors in other palettes❤❤

I LOVE shop my stash videos because I like shopping my own stash lol 😆 every time I see a new product or collection I always ask myself: do I have something similar already? More often than not I have something 😅😂 I do this with fashion as well. I’m a super small creator in the beauty space but I have a decent beauty supply store in my bedroom and I so so often forget what I have 😆🤦🏻‍♀️ I have completely changed the way I do my makeup because of several back surgery and chronic pain/fatigue. Now once a week I go to my beauty room and pack my bag for the week. I shop my stash and then actually get to use my stuff and in the process I have figured out what I like best for myself and how I want my makeup to be lol but it also gives me a chance to challenge myself and use my more bold or unique makeup. Anyway lol you look stunning as always 🩵🫶🏻 🐆

What if you did a "hot new release" spoof video of collections that you love. So you would do a byop, and put your blushes and glosses into the collection that you think would go with the palette.
