I seriously don’t understand people. Tati, your comment section has turned into something really negative and that’s really sad. Now people are saying things like: “Tati isn’t happy anymore, she’s being passive aggressive, she’s being negative” and blaming you for not liking how the products perform on YOUR FACE! Tati nooo. I use the Nars liquid blush everyday and yeah it's really intimidating because of how pigmented it is. But I use the color torrid and I'll use maybe half a pump on my fingers, rub it in my fingers and then pat it on my cheeks, very buildable too. It's the best thing if you use it right.

Not sure if this helps, but things falling and shifting are often a sign of simple vibrations or changes in air pressure - like garage doors opening/closing, a normal door opening/closing, an air conditioner kicking on and off, if you're near a fault line it could be a simple tremor that a normal person wouldn't feel, nearby construction/roads/traffic, etc. It's especially noticeable if the foundation isn't perfectly level or has settled/cracked. Or it could even be mice - they can be very invisible when they want to stay hidden. We have a Galileo thermometer that always appears to move on its own and I've caught it about to fall over a few times - discovered it was the door to the basement opening and closing that was causing minor vibrations and just scootching it toward the edge of the shelf slowly over time until it was about to fall. It's pretty common, especially in California with all of the seismic activity.

I did the exact same thing for months with the Nars blush and I was MIND BLOWN when I discovered the pump and simultaneously felt like an idiot. Lol I actually love the blush but I only use a really small amount and use a powder on top and I usually get a ton of compliments on it.

I don't know if you didn't look into it or just don't know who Pony is but I don't think her stuff is really meant for people who do their makeup in the more western fashion. She's a korean makeup artist, a lot of the trends are obviously different from the west. I'm pretty sure that pallet is mean for someone much paler lol. EDIT: I wasn't trying to bag on Tati, I love her. I was merely trying to give her some background on the off chance she didn't know. I also love Pony but I don't think her contour pallets have the shade range for the way westerners would wanna use it. That's really all I meant lol.

I think everytime ive seen people use the nars liquid blushes they the tinsy tiniest amount for both cheeks. Like, i know you probably think one pump is a tiny amount but probably less than half of that would go for both cheeks. Also, ive seen it mostly blended out with hands. Idk, if you like the color, maybe try it out like that?

Honey you don't need that much Nars blush. Take a little on your middle finger and put a few dots on your cheek, then take your clean ring finger and tap it out. The beauty blenders is just applying way too much. Yes, it's hard to control the pump BUT what I like to do is take whatever is left over from the pump and apply it to my lids. Blend out the crease and apply a light shimmer over top. Makes an effortless monochromatic look.

Honestly, the cushion foundation and the blush really don’t look that bad. Anyone can tell you applied WAYYYY too much blush. I feel that if you had just applied the tiniest bit, it would have been better. As for the contour, Pony Effect is a Korean makeup brand by a Korean makeup artist, Pony (she’s also on KZbin!), intended for Koreans who generally have lighter skintones AND K-makeup generally don’t do contour or even if they do, it’s very light, barely detectable and somewhat cool-toned as warm-toned contour does not really suit them all that much. That’s why the shade is so light. The setting spray is from Kryolan and intended for special effects SFX makeup, obviously the makeup will last until the world ends, definitely NOT an everyday use.

I think the Pony effect contour palette is a lost for her company. She couldn’t sell it for korean or asian following korean beauty because they didn’t even contour. And it was not for westerner either because the shade was too light lol

Agency in Repose Still, she didn’t have to mention it as a product she hates if she knew what the product was intended for if she was still going to use it for a different purpose. There’s nothing wrong with using makeup intended for SFX but as it is for SFX, people who use should be aware of its intensity. The only big issue she kept repeating about the contour was the shade and it’s pigmentation, the highlight she said doesn’t work as a highlight for her but works better as an undereye brightener. Again, this is due to the product’s audience target. As for the blush, if you look closely, she obviously pumped more than once. And even then, there’s really nothing wrong with the blush, just that she used too much. 🤷🏻‍♀️

To be fair, the only makeup products available in Korea are Korean brands and certain high end Western brands as Sephora, a major beauty retailer is not available in Korea. Ahhh I love your honest reviews, but this video kinda felt like trying to prove these products are bad by applying them poorly. I thought that foundation actually looked quite nice and that Nars blush looked like a beautiful flush in the places where you didn't apply it too much. There was _way_ too much product when you started on the (viewer's) left side. I felt like if you had just finished the right side with what was left on the beauty blender without dipping in for more, that side would've looked really pretty. And I couldn't believe my eyes when you went to apply that Cover Fx highlighter like nooo when do you ever apply highlighter onto your cheeks like that. I felt the same way with the collaboration you did with Thomas, so I hope this isn't what it's going to be like in the future videos as well. When I see people review "bad" products and apply them poorly, it makes me question whether they are really as bad as they are made to seem. I appreciate your genuine opinion and your expertise in makeup, and I believe that the best way to review bad makeup is to put it on as well as you can and then telling why you don't like it. No need to exaggerate it by poor application, because that takes away from the integrity of the review.

This comment section is ridiculous. 1. You didn’t even try to give the make up a fair shot. 2. You seem off and I don’t like it. If you don’t go back to being super bubbly and goofy, I’m not watching you anymore. 3. I don’t like these negative videos. Come on guys. Tati has been doing KZbin for years. If you’ve watched her videos for any length of time, you know that she has given the products a fair shot and has tried them all for a while, on and off camera. She uploads 5 videos a week, and does videos like this like, once a month? We all pick what we watch on KZbin, so if you don’t like these videos, she has hundreds of other videos that you can watch instead. The content is right there in the title, so why click the video, knowing what it’s going to be about, and then comment about how you don’t like it. Plenty of people do like the videos and some people do find them helpful. Tati is still a human being. Filming, editing, and uploading 5 times a week takes a lot of time, she also has her own company, and she’s got a personal life. She’s allowed to have not so great days. There’s no need to get on here and start tearing into her, saying that you’re not going to watch her anymore if she can’t get her act together... If you don’t like these videos, don’t watch. It’s not like we were lured in with some clickbait title.

Lol, that Maybelline brow pencil is actually my go-to. I tried a Revlon one that was too dark and waxy and I guess by comparison the Maybelline one actually seemed good. I refuse to pay more than $10 for a brow pencil and honestly I tried some of the ABH ones on my hand in store one time and they were sooo dry and didn’t color on my skin. To each her own I guess!

The reason why they were dried out is because the makeup stores keep their products open for hours on end (which will dry out the creamy products especially) and they wont replace the testers until it is expired or used up entirely/til there is pan shown.

I love the ABH brow pencils! They actually are quite pigmented and blendable, not dry at all. Give ABH another try! Don't know about the Maybelline product, looked terribly awkward to use.

Not that you’ll read this. But. I love the liquid nars blush. When I first got it I tried it the same way and hated it. Through trial and error I learned. I take it on the back of my hand and spread it out with my fingers first and then go in with a light brush or like a stippling brush so it doesn’t go on too heavy. And that way you can control the amount better. It gives a very nice blended finish that can somehow look a little more natural than powder blush cause it’ll sink in more.
