I'm really into mixing foundations too. Less so for everyday, usually for night outs or special occasions. Dewy + long lasting foundations are my fave combo.

Omg I soooo totally agree here- I've had my beauty blender for ages (the real techniques sponge rather than beauty blender but same thing I guess)- I never really used it or paid much attention to it until the past month or so and I'm in love and don't think I could go without it now. Seriously guys, if anyone of you hasn't tried or got a beauty blender or the real techniques sponge it's highly recommnded coz its makes the foundation set like a dream- no streaks and it just looks natural and flawless and takes away the cakey-ness without getting rid of the coverage

@nicolemarie279 жыл бұрын
Tiffany I just wanna mention for anyone that may see this comment that is sensitive or acne prone... corn-starch is awful for acne-prone skin and can break you out! I see where you're coming from with using it as a setting powder though... because many setting powders I have used in the past broke me out and I could not figure out why, then looked at the ingredients and saw that corn starch was the main ingredient. After re-searching I learned corn starch is an irritant and can break you out if you're acne prone.. I stopped using anything with corn starch and my skin cleared up!
@tiffaaanyox9 жыл бұрын
Nicole Marie really? that's weird! I have sensitive, acne-prone skin myself and I haven't had any problems since I've been using it it's been about a year of me using it now.

I have a question, I know you said your skin is oily or combination but do you powder after your foundation? or no, because I normally powder but I find that when I do my bronzer and contour and blush it all looks cakey and I want to try to not use powder but I'm so afraid the bronzer and blush will look patchy or something if I don't powder.
@meagandalrymple92139 жыл бұрын
Lauren Solano try doing your foundation and conceiler, ONLY set your undereyes, THEN do your contour/bronzer/blush and then use powder to set your face ONLY on areas you HAVENT put powder on already i.e. center of your face.
@twiddlebitz9 жыл бұрын
Lauren Solano you can also try doing all powders and then spraying your face with a setting spray that will take away the look of cakey-ness
@veess2279 жыл бұрын
Build the product- don't use to much on your brush first off, start with a lighter bronzing colour if you don't want to use powder and then build the colour. All about layering - another tip is pat the foundation brush onto those areas or beauty blender and that way the bronzer and blush will melt more into the skin making it more natural looking! I hope this helps! :)
@dana94a9 жыл бұрын
I'm combo so i always powder right in my tzone first, of course after tapping off the brush, and whatever is left I just swirl around the rest of my face.

Why does it seem like every single KZbinr shits on drugstore products? To be honest, I like drugstore better than Sephora. I don't get why everyone thinks that just because it's drugstore and it's cheaper means it's not good. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's worth the money. Sorry for the rant, I feel like I'm the only one who thinks this 😕😕
