Also, good moisturiser! My skin was a mess due to me being on birth control for medical reasons and it made my skin oily and kept breaking out, got a good skin routine and found amazing moisturisers that my skin is now clear. Still get a little oily but it'll help with wrinkles. Just keep a good skin routine and stick to it :) it really helps

The one drugstore item I use as primer is the Neutrogena Hidro-Boost Gel Cream. It's so lightweight and it gives a hydrated feel to your skin. It also dries very quickly, so you don't have to worry about looking too oily. I love it! I definitely recommend it.

Highlighter tends to make pores and bumps appear bigger it gives texture to the skin and she does apply quite a lot of highlighter so that's probably why

If this does happen to you I would recommend using less and I usually think that putting some kind of refreshing setting spray tones down the appearance of the highlighter I use fix plus by Mac and it's great or just brush it off a bit with a brush :)

I agree partially. I don't like the over-highlighted look. I think it looks very cakey and accentuates pores a ton! However, I always sweep a little bit of highlighter on my cheekbones and on the tip of my nose to give a beautiful subtle glow when the light catches the highlight!!

The nivea shaving balm for sensitive skin works FANTASTICALLY as a primer. It cost like 7-8 bucks and you get a great amount of product. The best thing about it is that after you apply it, it feels tacky but not in a way which you feel your skin streching and dry. The rimmel lasting finish primer is my favorite from the drugstore. It's got a slight sheen and looks dewy on the skin, not completely matte. Its for a more dewy/semi matte look. It makes my makeup last for 12+ hours. I have dry skin btw.

My favorite primer is the Revlon photoready perfecting primer, I have been using it for a couple years now & have tried to find a better high end one, & feel like I have tried every one at sephora & always come back to that one...
