Love your videos. I’m 49 and have recently wanted more natural makeup looks and this one you did is perfect. I would love to see if you could recreate this look using your affordable picks that give a similar look. The lip color is very pretty but I have a hard time wearing that type of shade too. I definitely think a pinky nude is more flattering on you.

Hi Risa, I would absolutely LOVE if you did a Merle Norman devoted video. I dearly love that brand but it doesn't get nearly enough love. I am in makeup heaven with all the information that is out there from makeup artists these days. I also remember exactly what you mean about the magazines. I was a teenager in the 90s and even my teenager self knew that I what I read they say they used for the model's makeup wasn't accurate. It wasn't even just the one brand aspect, it was also that they'd list one product for each facial feature. Like this eyeshadow, this blush, this lipstick...when clearly it was a complex makeup look with multiple products used on each facial feature.

I liked this video a lot , Risa. Love seeing what MUAs use and love. I have many of the products you had in this video. I used to love Dose of Colors foundation but after a couple of years my skin began to look dry while wearing it. I lovvvve Tatcha skin products. Big fan of the Water and Silk cream. I also use the Dewy Serum and the Serum Stick. My newest love is the Tatcha Indigo Overnight Repair. Oh my goodness the way it feels going on the face is heavenly. I think the lip combo was gorgeous on you. I could see it was a little more orangish than pink. But because it's so pretty on you I would just use a different blush shade when wearing it. So pretty!
