i think what shes trying to say is if you use the cream highlighters and stuff and then set your face it almost dissapears and doesnt show unless you put it over the top of powder or just dont set your face and in that case it looks gross so what she was saying whats the point

I find that you don't use most of the products in a correct order or use a correct application. Try maybe using cream products under powders, spraying setting sprays from another distance and many others. These are basic rules for any make-up artists...

i think her point with the cream products was if you apply them before you set your face they dissapear once youve set it or if you just dont set your face in general or apply them over powder they look disgusting, so i agree with her on that down understand the point in them at all

cream products are great for layering ie when you put foundation on and powder for coverage when applying creams you put them on under your setting powder and it leaves a base for the powder products and gives them better coverage and pigmentation

Colourpop's highlighters aren't creme. They are powder, just formulated differently. They kind of have a "wet" feeling and look to them which is why they are so metallic looking. They are one of my favorite highlighters personally. And the way they are formulated is the same way the eyeshadows are in terms of it's powder that has a wet and soft feel to it so it shouldn't feel weird if you've used their eyeshadows before.

so i had the same issue with the colourpop highlighters at the start too. but how i make them work is is just dab them on really really gently and sometimes i put a powder highlighter on top and it makes it really intense. when i first bought them they seperated and stuff but not anymore

not really? i do cream under powder every day and it looks phenomenal. everything works different for everyone. however, if shes going to test something out, it should be done correctly to show why it actually doesnt work and so its not just human error. a bad product is a bad product so if it doesnt work, we will see that. creams do not work over powders.

Cream products, whether they be blush, highlighter, contour or bronzer, can be beautiful if applied properly. But, that's the key - applying all cream products first, before you set your face. Cream products are wonderful for people such as myself; dry skin and mature. Just like any other product, you have to learn how to work with them. And not ever apply them over powder. =)

Cream blushes are typically meant for a more subtle and natural flush of colour or for people with dry skin that don't always set their face. if you're finding that it disappears if you powder on top then maybe you aren't applying enough product or you're applying to much powder, or simply your powder is tinted and gives too much coverage... just a thought

its funny how products work differently on people and their preferences! I personally love the it cosmetics bye bye under eye concealer because I have DARK DARK under eye circles and it's the only thing that covers them

Obviously everyone's skin is different, but I personally think the Tarte powder is perfect. I don't bake, I just apply a light layer with a smaller fluffy brush and it makes my otherwise huge pores invisible and stops my undereye concealer from creasing all day. You should try it with less product, maybe it's just not that good for baking.

Jasmine I feel you about the cream highlight and blush. But when I tried it under the powder formula, god it will last your blush and highlight through out the day without needing to touch it up! So I recommend you to try it seriously best make up hack ever since I'm a blush and highlight girl!

Great video ❤️ I had the same experience with the tarte setting powder! I found that the only way to remove the white cast is to take your foundation brush after you used it with no additional product and lightly tap it off.. but yeah it's horrible and I never use it🙈
