@@xaolin_matador_de_porco totally agree with you. That being said Assai did a hell of a good job sticking to it considering the guy looked like he was gonna passout at any second. Skivers is definitely a great fighter. But there are always holes to a defence

@ali khan think its to do with the style of karate they are using. And every time Assai kicked, skrivers caught it so he probably gave up

@ali khan I thought that Skrivers was a Kyokushin fighter, because Kyokushin uses punches a lot. But no, Skrivers (and Assis) are Shotokan fighters, a style that uses a lot of kicks 🤷🏻‍♂️

2:41 i don't understand why sowthpaws keep poping the inside calf kicks, you risk breaking your shin. An outside calf kick also means they will blitz you when you throw it because you will be off balance, transitioning into a side kick after throwing it is best to avoid that blitz.

I could see that Argument being made for Skrivers but Bruno Asis is definitely a Shotokan Karateka he just adapted it to better fit his natural fighting style.

Bruno escolheu lutar tenso e paradão... lutou bem, mas acho que teria conseguido mais se estivesse se mexendo e fintando, usando a longa distância, chutes... Tava batendo muito no vaziop porque tava contraído demais. Mas lutou muito bem Acho que faltou isso. Ficaramos dois quase a luta toda grudados trocando na curta distância... poderia ter aproveitado muito mais a distância, técnica, chutes etc.
