As elusive as Usyk is, I can't see him avoiding all of Fury's jabs, either. AJ's problem against Usyk was that he's too one dimensional and only knows one way to fight. You're fight that Fury is adaptable, and can switch hit as well.

IMO, the lineage was broken when Lenox retired, the lineage has been broken many times since John L Sullivan because champions have retired while still holding the title, In each of these events the new champ was decided when the number 1 and number 2 fighters in the division fight, the winner is champion.. the ‘lineal’ confusion only exists coz of how many belts there are now… Vlad wasn’t ‘lineal’ champion but he was number 1 in the division, so when Fury beat him HE became the consensus ‘lineal’ champ. You can argue that he lost that when he was retired 3 years, but the fact is, he is an active fighter and he hasn’t lost a fight since becoming lineal champ, so technically it’s a valid claim to the lineal title… my question is, if Lenox Lewis came out of retirement, would that technically automatically make him the longest reigning lineal champ and would it wipe fury’s claim out of the history books? 😂 I don’t think people should call themselves lineal champ, I think, if we have to have more than one belt, if you become undisputed, you should be called a champion, if you have less than all the belts you should e called a title holder.

Honestly, it’s a tough fight to call… Last time Fury was fighting a cruiserweight it was about 10 years ago and it was against Steve Cunningham who gave Fury a lot of trouble before getting Ko’d, Usyk is slick and uses angles well, I want Fury to win and he has all the necessary tools when his mind is in the right place
