10:17 - Wet LAX tarmac. An uncommon occurence, even though this was recorded in the winter, which is the "rainy season" in California. It doesn't get much rain, even in the rainy season. Most of the days it is dry.

I had several flights into LAX this year during rain. In fact, there was one flight where they had a reverse flow for landing traffic. Unfortunately they had the regular flow going for departures. I'd never seen that. It was during the dead of night, and there were only a few red-eyes operating, so there wasn't much traffic at 1:30am. Thanks for watching my friend!

That is very common question when it comes to Airbus aircraft. What you are hearing there is the PTU or (power transfer unit). Since aircraft have two hydraulic systems that run independently form each other, the PTU is used to power both systems when only one engine is running. Every aircraft has one. You can just hear it more on Airbus aircraft.

Unfortunately, it’s pretty limited edition, and I don’t think you can find it anywhere now. On this flight, since I was seated on the left side of the aircraft. That would be my left arm/hand 🤣. I do not use a mount when filming flights.
