@@rickweintraub9847 They do have a plan to retire the 757 but Delta still says it's the workhorse of their fleet, and it will still be around for a very long time, with Delta saying their youngest 757 might stay in the fleet at late as 2035. They'll still be here a while!

@@thecomedypilot5894 I noticed that delta uses the 757 from Atlanta to Jacksonville, Atlanta to ft Lauderdale, Atlanta to Orlando, and Atlanta to Tampa Bay and Detroit all somewhat short roughts. Wondering why they do that for a long range aircraft. Doesn't 757s go 4000 miles , I don't understand why thy waste it on short flights.

Wll it is a farther drive than I thought. We ran 727 and DC9 aircraft. I am 94 years young. I enjoy drinking coffee at airports and next to those retired birds that time forgot in airplane salvage yards. 1992 was my last time I sat on the left of my 1011 greatest plane ever.

The -300s at Delta and United were all built in the early 00s, mainly around 2002-2004. They were some of the last 757s produced.

Great video, though flight 1546 had a 767-400ER on September 20, 2022 and on the 21st. It did have a 757-300 on the 19th though, so the date might be off. Can clearly see on the gate that this is 1546. Gotta love the 757-300 and its long and thin fuselage.

I think outside food should be banned on flights unless its fruit or veggies. Smelling stinky fast food is the worst. BTW love the 757 and still hope for a 757NG/MAX

Why on earth would Delta operate a 757 or any aircraft from MIA - ATL? how much is the coast of having that route. I can drive from MCO to ORL in 1 hours, I am a retied TWA captain flew the maiden of the 74 and then moved into the 1011. As a former commercial airman I cant figure it oit... Delta should get out of that teritoy so others are treated equal,
