These planes were tanks. Working at Skywest I had the opportunity to fly on many of them and they were awesome!

I used to work for Skywest back in the mid 1990s at LAS. We still had the Metro, a few 120's, and a daily CRJ. I would fly almost every weekend!! I loved the Embraer 120, and it was just a fun plane. It saddens me to see them slowly fading away. They were such a vital part of the regional industry.

Me too! PDX used to be a base for the E120 and we would have them flying in and out all day long. Don't miss them idling next to my spotting location because you couldnt hear the other planes taking off these gals were just so damn loud!

Flew the Brazilia from PDX-EUG back in 2010 (ish). I much prefer the Q400 that Alaska operates on the route. Nice video btw!

While I am not a fan of turboprop airliners, it is a shame Alaska and Silver Airways are the only us airline with turboprops. Havent been on a turboprop airliner yet.

There are still other smaller airlines flying turbos in the US, namely Key Lime Air and the Metroliner, Mokulele/Southern Air Express and the C208, and Boutique Air with the PC-12.

Flight from PDX to SEA can't be just 20 Minutes. Your flight (on your video) took off at 11:00, and landed at 31:00. 20 Minutes off the ground? Maybe with a Concorde?

Terminal to terminal is 207 km. The brasilia is a fast bugger, cruising at a dozy 550 km/h. 22 minutes at full speed. Add couple minutes for acceleration, slowing, circling, and taxi time, i’d say it takes about 32 minutes gate to gate.
