Worked and flew on this particular aircraft several times! I miss flying on these! Flying into Palm Springs and St George was an absolute blast! Lots of pukers in the summer.

I used to love seeing all the United Express EMB-120’s lined up at that terminal, but now all I see are CRJ-200’s, 700’s, maybe even some ERJ-145’s, 170’s, 175’s, and maybe even some EMB-190’s, and I also loved seeing a bunch of Q400’s lined up and the Denver airport, but sadly United retired all the turboprops and now all we see are those regional jets I mentioned, I really hope I get to ride on Horizon Air Q400 before they’re gone, and it’s also sad that I didn’t get to ride on a 747, a lot of airlines are retiring them these days, United: no more 747’s, and I’m pretty sure Lufthansa and British Airways are in the middle of phasing theirs out as well, but hopefully I’ll get to ride on a 787 Dreamliner sometime since that’s what airlines are replacing 747’s and A380’s with

DylBeen the Plotagonist and randomee 240 I feel your pain! Sadly we’re losing more and more aircraft variety. Twin wing mounted turbo fan jets are becoming the norm.

LoveJT8D you’re right about the twin wing mounted jets, Aeromexico Connect in 2017 replaced all of their ERJ-145’s with EMB-190’s, and Allegiant will retire their last MD-80 this November and replace it with an Airbus A319/20

And thank you for watching! FAT was definitely a nice airport to experience, as was Yosemite National Park for that matter. The FA was pretty awesome indeed. I always like when they can make the flight feel "cool" and a fun experience. That was one quality that always calmed my nerves whenever the FA seemed engaged with the pax.

so cool...I flew the EMB-120 in 1994 on MCO-MIA with Delta Connections Comair! This aircraft is minimum 30 years old!? Siegerflieger Lufthansa B747-8, HIGHLIGHT! :-) When was THIS flight in 2014?

How much do those tickets go for?

I looked at a round trip ticket LAX-FAT on Feb 28, 2015 and pricing is around $326. I've also seen them as low as $232 and as high as $428 round trip so it really depends on the market and how far out you book.

Jo Tyers The EMB-120 is indeed a wonderful aircraft and quite a workhorse. Sadly, they are currently being retired from Skywest.

LoveJT8D Yeah, I think they're gone now. I flew UA and dozens of these for 20 years or so, then switched to AA in 2012. I was born in FAT's pattern. Imagine where you were, gate 7 I think, and all that being open air and a UA 727 powering a turnaround and nailing people with jet wash. That's how it was in the 1960's. Thanks for the video!

What camera equipment do you use to film your videos ? Is that in 60+ fps ?

David FSX Hi David. Thanks for watching. This video was shot with a Sony HX-100V I believe at 60fps. This is an older model and I think Sony has the 400V now (nice cameras for the price). However, since this video, I have upgraded to the Nikon D750 and am really enjoying that camera. With the full-frame sensor, 30fps is all you need. My uploads in the last few months have all been 30p and are much easier files to manage while editing. 60fps is primarily used if you plan on adding a lot of slow motion on your footage.
