My 11 year old has had this problem since she was six months.. I’ve been trying to find a solution for this .. I even tried salons that told me not to shave it because it could cause a more serious problem but since find out the actual name of the condition by watching your video I was able to find more help on how to treat this… thank you so very much for up loading this ❤❤❤❤

You're an angel. The time and dedication you put into this so that your son can have as normal a childhood as possible and feel as comfortable as possible is immense. Not that other parents wouldn't care but I think many would become frustrated and possibly allow it to grow way too much due to neglect, which would actually be understandable as parents can have very busy lives. That's why you're exceptional. I also enjoy the sense that it is what it is and that's that. I think most people would be embarrassed and would be making apologies or would do anything but be public about it. You're helping parents who are on the same boat and boosting the esteem of people like me who also has this condition and deals with shame and depression over it often. It makes us know we are not alone and to brighten up because it isn't our fault.

@@parmesanpalmsI’ve got psoriasis that, even when treated, will occasionally get thick on my hands and feet, and even though the medications I take for it remove it everywhere else on the body, I have to wrap my feet at night with a medication 2-3 times a week to keep them clear. I have so much empathy for you and your son, but of course no pity- you guys look wonderful!

@@markieffmorris9263gloves for who? for what? the mom has it on her hands and feet too, so it would decrease what little sensation she has in her own hands as she attempts to bring comfort and normalcy to her child's hands and feet. I swear yall think gloves are appropriate for every single thing and that's just not the case. Theres no fungus, no dirt, no germs besides what's on our skin normally.. no blood nothing. relax with the gloves. I'm sure if you search the word gives on her YT or TT accounts, shes covered why she does not use gloves as that was clearly just my opinion and I'm sure she shares her own at some point. The people being negative in the comments seem to be mostly non English speakers (or not fluent at least) and are a little confused about how the child's feet got to be that way despite your clear explanation, I'd just ignore it and remmeber you're doing a great job. The people telling you to wear gloves have clearly never had to look after kids😂

wow i didn't know this was a thing! thank you for sharing. I've been spending months slowly filing down a layer of callus on my foot that i didn't know i had (until i ended up with a corn seed that i thought was a shard of glass embedded in my foot). My feet really didn't look different at all, until i started going at it with the ped egg and soaking. It's been taking months because every time i think it's smooth, the next time i take a bath, more puffy skin is ready to slough off 🤣 i think i need me one of those pedicure knives.
