Let me take you on a walk through my garden! May is probably my favorite time of the year. So much is just waiting to happen. I love the anticipation! I hope this garden tour inspires you to go outside and enjoy your own garden too. Or perhaps start growing on the patio or balcony?
Make sure to subscribe to my channel for more helpful tips on growing vegetables and flowers at home. I have plenty of videos about gardening and landscaping, for example about how to create a cottage garden and build your own greenhouse on my channel.
Or, read my garden blog at sarabackmo.com where I tell you all about my Swedish kitchen garden and how to become self-sufficient in vegetables. I go through everything from mulching to starting new beds, raised bed gardening, organic fertilizer, hydroponic gardening and much more!

I love your enthusiasm and courage to try new things! I also always end up growing more than I need, then put out plants on the side of the road for people to take for free. It has become something people count on I think.

Sarah, you are amazing. Such a fabulous variety of flowers and veggies. Those yellow tulips looked like peonies! I so look forward to June vlog and the progress.I can no longer garden like that but I did manage alot of hanging baskets and container hostas and planters. I have reported and given away alot of ferns and Japanese Maple seedlings that grow in my river rock garden with underlay below it. I have also done some recycling turning s wooden potatoe and onion box into a lovely planter. When I learn how to send pics on here I will forward some as I am very proud that I can still accomplish this much. Having great meighbours in a very busy city is a huge bonus for me as well. I have gotten slot of positive comments which are healing to say the least. Stay safe, be well.

Dear Sara, your videos showed up in my youtube feed only recently and I enjoy them so much! I'm actually on my way of watching them all. Your gardens are so beautiful and your wintergardening method is a huge inspiration. I will definately try and do more of it myself. I noticed that you have a lot of chickweed -stellaria media-growing in your beds. Did you know that this is a delicious and very nutricious edible? It tastes a bit like young corn and even keeps on growing under the snow. I use it a lot in salads...Thank you for your beautiful work!

When you are starting the seeds in a mass sowing in the tray, how do you separate the seedlings to plant out without damaging them? I’ve seen lots of people starting seeds that way and I’d love to know more about how you then transplant them to the garden? Thank you:)

Hello, need advice on how to grow large spinach leaf ? And the question is - don't slugs live in beds under furrov? Greetings from Lithuania🇱🇹😚
@Skillnadens
@Skillnadens 2 жыл бұрын
I grow a lot of vegetables! And I grow in various places. On beds outdoors, in the polytunnel so that means that I still get vegetables even if there are slugs. I don't have any problems with slugs in the winter though. So perhaps that can inspire you to try to grow more, and in various places. And lest but not last, ofcourse I try to get rid of the slugs aswell. 😊
