@jtmichaelson, I wonder if it's because the pumpkins are more like "import/export", when I'd find one, it said "1/10" and pumpkins also have the "trick or treat" associated with them. I'm on PC but I wondered why I wasn't seeing snowmen. WTH just make it a one-time thing, that's dumb especially when the "ghost hunts/UFO sightings" is the same every year and of course we get "snow every Christmas" so why drop the snowmen/others. The freaking "Slasher" reappears each Halloween, why not the Yeti etc. R* has no freaking IMAGINATON and their micromanagement is what turns me off to many elements in their games. If I spend time grinding $10 MILLION+ and spend it all on weapons/ammo then I should be able to decide WHICH weapons/ammo I want to use to approach a given scenario say in the "Heists" for example. To hell with "No, you can ONLY use specific weapons/ammo we want you to use." Then I won't use any because I won't participate in them. And why should you "need at least 2 people in a session" just to "get the Gooch or a truck" to spawn. You don't need them for Slasher, didn't for the Yeti.... It was just an issue of time and place. Again R* micromanagement is pushing people away. I'm surprised that in the new Darnell Co, you can actually use whatever weapons you want to complete those "files" rather than, "in this file challenge you're limited to a knife, pistol with 500 rounds, 5 grenades & 2 super heavy armor"....🙄

Yeah it sucks. I went hunting for the yeti last night but couldn't get him to spawn so I checked the snowmen locations and nothing was there so I guessed after doing it last year I couldn't do it again

Correction: The comet safari livery is different on the one you steal via the salvage yard and the one you can buy in LS. The LS one comes with a candy cane livery and the salvage yard one comes with a snowflake livery (like the clique one but with more lines and such).

A bit of a shame they made the salvage yard one with a LS Car Meet plate to have the snowflake livery. I kinda want the candy cane livery more, especially since I already have a Baller ST and Ardent from last year with a snowflake livery..

You can be in a vehicle and still get the gooch. As long as he can grab you he will spawn. So if you are just parked, he will pull you out of your car. I was parked and had been sitting for about 5 minutes when he spawned and grabbed me out of my car.

I'm more into "modding vehicles", the only reason I play GTA and well, I do sometimes have extended "shootouts" with the Cops at the tunnel near Grove St. I absolutely hate the cheating AI in the game, they're all really bad for it from the NPC's in cars that become "enemies", to Merryweather and other enemies but the Cops, I have special beef with, lol. It definitely wasn't a mod action, as it had the on-screen messages and map blip, so idk if Rockstar was just testing it or if someone there pressed the launch button by accident

The Comet Safari I claimed through the Salvage Yard Business didn't have the Candy Cane livery. It's a snowflake livery that happens to look very similar.

Also, just a note, the Die Hard Shootout at Weazel Plaza, if you are with someone, both you and your friend can collect it. At first, it will seem that only one can get it but the blue dot respawns and you can then pick it up. Hope this helps.

Interesting bug about the Gold Star Jacket, if you go into your interaction menu, select the jacket to be open and then close it again, it changes its skin to probably New Year's aswell as that of the tie.

Easiest way to defeat the Yeti, is once you've got all the clues and you are waiting for him to spawn in..... Be standing on the roof of a vehicle and he won't be able to get you😁👌🏻

I bought the Taco van just in the hope that under the vehicle settings you could open the sides etc like in the vigilante mission where the sides are open... No... you can't. It does nothing, you can't customise it and it's slow as you'd imagine... Save your money. How cool would it be if it was a mobile food/snacks shop that you could use in online, park up, jump in the back and open the sides and sell food to other online players and even make some money from it (obviously becoming temporarily invincible like the gun van so you're not a sitting duck for those would be griefers😉), that would be amazing! Why don't they do something like this? Especially considering the amount of detail Rockstar have put into this game😔
