Very confident in that it's going to be Necrozmas IVs because that's how it works in regular Pokemon games.

In the main games, Dusk mane or Dawn Wings fusions keep everything from necrozma. So Necrozma’s move set, ivs, shiny, nickname, markings, evs, trainer info. So maybe try hunt for Hundo/shiny Necrozma

So if I have a shiny necrozoma but my sogaleo is not a shiny and I fuse them it should be a shiny, I kind of figured they would both need to be a shiny to fuse into a shiny but if I only need one that would be great.

On the Pokemon Go site, they show that the fusion kept the necrozma's CP. Assuming they are keeping with the mainline games that it will keep IV's and shiny/non-shiny of necrozma as well.

Honestly they should probably drop Cosmog raids, since some people might want separate pokemon, like one Lunala, one Solgaleo, and one of each for Dusk and Dawn forms of Necrozma, and if they don't, I REALLY HOPE that after you fuse them, and want to refuse them it doesn't cost energy again, cause it will be REALLY ANNOYING when you defuse them and then asks for the energy you might not have. I guess I should start to stock up on premium passes, especially if they go with the primal energy route and only give like 90 energy MAX from a raid.

I can confirm that if you unfuse them you will have to pay the full price again.... very sucky

Highly unlikely it will ever come to raids unless TPC makes it more widely available in the MSGs. Go aligns rarity with the MSGs and you can only get one cosmog per version of the game.

Speaking of fushions, I have a feeling that the next fushion pokemons will be Kyorem + Zekrom/Reshiram since it has been accidentally released once. I also think that it will be officially released in next year’s Go tour because we had a sinnoh tour this year, this means that the next tour could possibly be Unova since it’s the region after sinnoh (Kyorem, Zekrom, Reshiram are all from Unova region)

IV's and also level is very important i guees. Since necrozma is coming to raids and also fusion raids will encounter necrozma, it is possible to collect XL to power up to 50 lvl but only way to get Solgaleo to lvl50 is using rare candies or walking 3000km

The level will be more interesting since I already powered 1 Lunala up to level 43. If "Dusk"/"Mane" only get level 20 or 25 which Necrozma will obviously be - it will mean I wasted a lot of dust, candy and not least XL candy. Also my Lunala is lucky which might be another waste if lucky state doesn't transfer to "Dusk"/"Mane"?

Well about the IV’s, if you think about it, if necrozma takes over solgaleo/lunala it’s still necrozma and he’s taking their power for himself so IV’s from sol/lun doesn’t matter

Honestly, while exciting for hardcore players who go to the go fests, this is a tall feat and somewhat discouraging for more casual players: getting cosmic is rare, getting candy to evolve them is tough. Then only one day in the year for most of us to get access to the fusion? Am I missing something?

Yes, you can get it shiny, but only if yiur at the in person events, if you accept a remote raid it cannot be shiny,. Except for the global go fest , it can be shiny through in person and remote raiding for the two day event. Good luck!
