Hey Mandy, Thanks for this superb explanation of Healbot. Only started a HolyPriest recently and it happened quite often that one of my mates died after a fight due to wounds or curses because Healbot thought it was more important to re-buff instead of healing ;( With the configuration that shouldn't happen again...thanks a million

This is great! I stopped going into AV because Heal Bot would just fill my screen with frames so I was looking for something that would allow me to just see the people in range. I also didn't know I could change colours when people were missing buffs! I loved it. Thanks heaps!

Done so, raided last night w/o any DC (in combat atleast) so i'm not certain that it solved my problem. But i found out that i rly needed to update HB! Seems like i had forgot to do that some patches ago ;) Thx for the help again with this movie!

Yes, make sure "Target Bar" is checked, then include raid and group (to the right of it). Then click on the person you want to be your target, and their bar on healbot will be above everyone else's bar on your healbot.

For this, go to "Skins" tab or "Skins 1" tab on newest HB and check "Show HoT Icons". Below that you can check if you want it on the left side, right side, etc. I also like to check "Count" & "Duration" right beside where it says "Show Icon Text". This way it'll put a counter on it like you see in the vid and show you when that HoT is up.

Ah thank you very much...I tried heal bot and didn't think much of it because I didn't spend time doing the stuff with diseases and magic...But that helps a bunch and the fort thing is nice too. Alas another great video 5 stars to you...even though you are horde. =D

On skins 2 tab (or just skins tab if it's an older version of HB), go to the top drop down box and set it to "Raid". This should separate each group with a bar, and will say "Group 1", "Group 2", etc above each group.

There should he a little "H" icon on your mini mpa that will bring HB back up or you can always type /healbot config in-game and that will also bring it back up. Once it's up, uncheck the "Hide options" button on the first tab there.

yeah yeah that worked thx but i have one more question. it shows HoTs in ur video does it show earthliving proc HoTs? and if it does could u tell me how to make them show up like they are on urs

Ive never played a Shaman past lvl 26,, but I personally recommend whatever heal is going to be the most efficient (mana AND heal wise) to be your left click button, your 2nd best but longer casting heal for your right click, & HOTs as your middle click..thats what I do. Thats why my Flash heal is L-click (lower mana cost, faster cast time) Greater Heal as R-click for when ones really low on health/taking a lot of dmg & Renew (HOT) as my middle click. E-shield is a buff-Id make that an Alt-click

Yes it helps at all levels. Just remember to update it as you gain new spells.

If you want to do a spell not assinged in your healbot then select that player from the left hand side and do the spell manually as you would w/o healbot. I do this for a few spells because I don't like to depend on HB for everything...just the spells I cast the most.

Yes those tutuorials are coming soon...I'll be making one for each tab for the most updated healbot version. But you'll want to set it to raid or BG first, then go over to your skins tab and play with the slider bars there. You should see your Healbot bars change there as you move the slider bars. Just play with them until you get them to the size that you want.

Is this while in combat or only out of combat? If this is happening out of combat, it's because the "Smart cast when out of combat" is checked and it's using the best spell. You can either turn that off under the Spells tab or just put Flash Light in your normal action bar and click from there instead.

Yes, you can color the bar by class. Just check "Color bar by class" on the skins 2 tab if you're using the newest HB and it will do that. I've never used Grid, just HB so not sure about your last question, sorry.

Not sure if you can change the colors. I'm not in-game atm so can't look, however, you can change the opacity of it and make it brighter or darker. Not sure if that'll help you much or not.

Just follow the same rules. Type in whatever spells you want under the spells tab. For the Cure and Buffs tab, everything is a drop-down box and already configured to your class.

1) make sure you hit "Load out of date add-ons" before you log in and make sure HB is on for that toon. 2) There should be a little "H" icon on your mini map for Healbot. Click that, it'll bring it up, and on the first tab make sure "Disable Healbot" isn't checked. Lemme know if this helped.

I wasn't *trying* to ignore you. I try to answer all questions when I can but since the patch I've had issues staying logged in and needed to look at my HB in-game to answer your question. Anyways, go to the "Healing" tab, and under "Healing Bars" check the box that says, "Self" and that should put your bar off to the left again.

Mostly Healbot, Recount, DeadlyBossMods, Omen, and I use Dominoes for my bars. I also use MRP (or MyRolePlay) mod since I'm an RPer and one called CloseUp which allows you to see what outfits look like on other toons but those 2 are unrelated to raiding, lol.

It might be another add-on interfering with Healbot. Try turning all add-ons off EXCEPT HB, and log back in. Then configure it how you want, reload UI (from healbot menu), log out, turn all other addons back on, and see if your configurations worked. If not, then scroll down and see my answer to Galllyer's comment and try that. Lemme know if this helped ;-)
